Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,

 

Om Sri Sai Ram. Prayers to Our Beloved Swami that His Divine Blessings are

always with each and everyone of you at all times.

 

Swami always says "Give Respect to your parents for they have sacrificed

everything for you", This is a message that Swami has told in many many

Discourses, this is a Message that Swami expects all of us to adhere to in

everyway.

 

In 1985 in Prasanthi Nilayam, Swami showered lots of Love and Divine Grace

on a boy named Sathyajit who was studying in the 12th class then, Swami had

also given interviews to his parents when they had come to Prasanthi Nilayam

earlier, But after the Boy had come from the Summer Holidays, Swami did not

speak a Word to him at all, After a Few days the Boy developed very High

Fever and was admitted to Hospital, Swami did not even enquire about him,

The Boy was allright after about 15 days and even when he sat in the Portico

for the Darshan, Swami avoided him totally. One day Swami at last called

Sathyajit in the Front of the all the Boys and also called the then warden

of Prasanthi Nilayam hostel Shri.Narasimha Murthy and showed him a letter,

Swami said that This letter was written to Swami by the Parents of Sathyajit

Telling Swami as to how Rudely he has behaved with them and not caring for

them at all. He had treated them very badly. Swami then said "You felt very

unhappy and Bad that Swami had not spoken to you for sometime, How much your

parents who had brought you up and looked after you would have felt when you

have treated them so badly, Your own parents would have forgiven you, But

Not Swami, If you would have shown the same Love and Devotion that You show

for Swami to your parents, Your parents and I will always be happy with

you".

 

Swami never spoke a word to Sathyajit, After about 5 months when His parents

came Prasanthi Nilayam and when Swami heard from Sathyajit's parents own

Mouth that they were happy with their son's behaviour, that Swami started

speaking to that Boy again.

 

That is Swami's Love and Grace, that is the message that Swami wishes us to

Follow, Love and Respect your parents always. That is the Message of Our

Beloved Swami to all of us even today.
