Guest guest
Well dear Vikram, If you are planning to change the lagna kundali with the relocated kundali (a la western astrology) then you should probably based vargas too on the same basis or it will get very confusing, would it not? What you are stating is kind of similar in essence to what some individuals do when predicting dashas. They treat the natal position of dasha lord as the first house during the dasha period and see the other planets accordingly. They do consider the janma and lagna kundalis too so it is a bit of hybridization for them and not a total switch. Like most things astrological, even when it sounds logical and feasible, you will find some charts which fit in the model while others don't. Then one wonders if there is some other consideration which would help us determine if a chart will benefit with the adjustment or will go astray. Now that the thought has come to you or arisen within you, before it fades and you get distracted with something else, take the time to look at a few charts and see if your model fits or not. www.asatrodatabank.com has some data and there are other sources of data too on the internet. I think some of the software (free and shareware) also come with a significant bank of data. You are welcome to use the data that is posted on jyotish-vani site. You might have to do a bit of searching and hunting and reading there though. You are welcome but you are pretty much on your own, there :-) RR , "viktejpal" <viktejpal wrote: > > Dear Gurus, > > For a person born in India and is currently settled abroad, do we > treat 12th house as Lagna to check which planet is in which house? > > Does this apply to Divisional charts as well? > > Your advice will be much appreciated. > > Warm regards, > Vikram >
