I am sharing with you the emails exchanged between me and guru

Parthaji about a student's chart to see whether she has a potential

of becoming a doctor.

Dear Parthaji

 

How are you, sorry for the gap. Trust you all are fine at your end.

I have enclosed a chart of a girl and listed below my analysis as

below for your advise on any mistakes/conclusions. I do not know

what to see for dental medical profession, you may advise me at the

end.

 

1)Rashis for medical:

a)D1: 10th house is Virgo, L10 (Lord of 10th house) Mercury is in 4th

house of Pisces.

b)D9: A10 is in pisces.

c)D10: L10 saturn (karaka for disease) is in Pisces.

 

2)Healing planets Sun and Venus:

 

a)D1: Venus is lord of 6th house (disease) conjoins Sun (lord of 9H)

in 3H (upachaya) aspected by Jupiter (consultant).

b)D9: Sun is lagna lord, placed in 10th house whose lord Venus

(healer) (L10) is strong in his own house (3H).

c)D10: Lagna lord Venus is in friendly house 10H of karma whose

karaka is Saturn (disease) (Yoga karaka). Sun (L4) is in 6th house of

disease with Ketu.

d)D24 Lagna is Leo, Lagna Lord sun is in 9th house of higher

education. Venus is in Lagna. 9th Lord Mars (YK) is in 5th house of

knowledge in friendly house of Sagitarius. 10th house has exalted

Rahu and Ketu in Tarus whose lord Venus is in Lagna.

All above indicates, Healers Venus and sun are in good placement

linking 10H, L10, Saturn, 6H, Lagna lord as well.

 

OTHER indicators/factors:

 

3)D1: Rahu (drugs) is in lagna, Moon (nursing) is in 5th house of

abilities and Jupiter is in 9th house.

 

4)D9: Jupiter is in friendly sign LEO Lagna, whose lord Sun is in 10H

of karma; Moon (nursing) is in 5th house of abilities. Saturn, Mars,

Rahu all are in 12th house of Cancer.

 

5)D10: Moon is strong (It is AK, in trines to Lagna and is in

subakarthari yoga between Jupiter and Lagna lord Venus). LL Venus is

in 10H, L10 Saturn is in 11th house with Mercury aspecting lagna. A10

is in 12th house with Mars/Rahu, healer sun is in 6th house of

disease, venus is in 10H.

 

Can we conclude from all the above that native will get medical

profession. But she is aiming for dental and is it possible to narrow

down to dental profession?

 

Native will run through Mars-Jupiter-Saturn or Mars-jupiter-Mercury

when she is trying for medical exams. LL is Jupiter, L5 is mars, L10

is mercury. I guess above are also favourable period.

 

Is there anyway to find out whether native will get medical seat by

merits?

 

I recently read that trines to 8th house of Jagannatha drekena will

tell about natives attachement on subjects. Trine to 8th house of SAG

is Mercury(is in 9th house to 8th house) and no planet in 5th house.

This does not match with the above conclusions. Can you advise on

this please.

Good analysis.

Few pointers for this particular case-i am doing this without seeing

the chart in total

a) 4th house rules nursing(you are right) so moon is very important

for nurses as well as doctors who have to give more care in their jobs

(like eye doctors etc). But some doctors are like wood cutters(that

is why you may get confused between chart of a woodcutter/butcher and

a doctor).

b) 4th, 8th and 12th houses are called as Chaturasra(the place or

rest and cleaning) When you wake up in the morning you need bath and

toilet(4th and 8th house), you also need good sleep in the night(12th

house). Thus these houses are the "Rejuvenating" houses.

Many people think that 8th house rules death, infact it rules the

opposite, it rules the Longevity. Thus 8th house is very important.

c) So moon is very important for Doctors, see moon also apart from

Sun and Venus. Moon is not exactly a healer, but without moon(Caring,

feeling) many doctors are simply butchers

d) You have to see where mercury is in navamsa. Please send me

navamsa chart. Mercury is the 10th lord in fourth house(see fourth

house again) so profession has to do with caring.

e) You must also remember that virgo/pisces is the natural hospital.

Thus virgo rules purifying and Pisces shows rest and rejuvenation.

This axis has to be carefully studied for Doctors.

Few points again

 

a) See mercury in fourth house again in Navamsa!(4th house rules

nurturing) and it is in scorpio which is the natural 8th house

(Rejuvenation). The aditya associated with Scorpio is Parjanya who

rules transformation

 

b) WHenever seeing Navamsa see trines, and whenever seeing dasamsa

please look at 2nd, 6th and 10th houses. Dasamsa is also arthamsa, or

the amsa for money and career. navamsa is for abilities and hence

trines are important.

c) See here it is so clear, she has sun+ketu in 6th house of service

is dasamsa, and venus in 10th house of career in dasamsa. Saturn the

10th lord is with mercury the 2nd lord of resources.

d) Actually her chart is a classic case for doctors, you may not get

such easy cases all the time, but you need to watch carefully at sun,

venus and moon all the time. Mercury and mars are not healers, so

remember they are only to know whether the person is a surgeon or

simply a doctor.

e) I have learnt pranic healing, but i am not a doctor. So how to

find out? In dasamsa moon is in 3rd house aspecting 10th house(Rasi

drishti). Sun also aspects 10th house. So some time in my life i will

do healing. dasamsa not only shows career, it also shows Karma or the

work that you do in society. Remember, many saints dont have any

active career, but does it mean that they dont do any work?

f) In her Siddhamsa, we should carefully look at 9th house and 2nd

house. Why? 9th house shows graduation and 2nd house shows post

graduation. She has sun in 9th house having rasi drishti of Venus

from lagna. See sun+venus again.

 

You made another point

PARTHA:- see 8th house is the mantra bhava for 4th house. it is

better to have good planets like mercury and venus, rather than

saturn or rahu. Moon is not good, because moon is debilitated in

natural 8th house(Scorpio). Sun is not bad, but can give problems

with father. Jupiter is ok, others are not so good. And it is not

rejuvenating the self alone, but also the ability to rejuvenate

others also. But for that atleast the lagna or 3rd lord should be

involved.

 

For doctors, 6th house and 12th house are equally important. They get

the roga out of you, the heal you, make you sleep with lot of tablets

and nurse you. But today how many doctors are there you are focussed

on that? So look at the connection of the lords of these houses( 6th,

8th and 12th) with 10th or 2nd house. They are out to make money.
