Guest guest
I just wanted to share one brief experience with Amma yesterday, and I will write more later. Last night our dear friend Michael performed the pada puja, and Anaghan and I had the blessing of being chosen to assist. My job was to hold Amma's sari away from her feet, and Anaghan's job was to hold the flower tray for Amma. Michael did the puja, and his son, Arthur, garlanded her. We have all been looking forward to and preparing for this moment for a few weeks now. The thing that I wanted to share is that although there are a lot of things that happen in the puja, I have only a tiny, three second memory of it. My eyes were a foot away from her feet, and something happened in that time that transported me to a place where the cognative mind absolutely cannot function. But I remember with a different kind of memory that is not in the mind, an outpouring of love and grace and gratitude and devotion so great that words seem to only diminish it a million times. I don't know what happened, but I can feel the effect. The programs yesterday were lovely, and there is plenty of floor seating. Also, Swami Purnamritananda is back!! He is mine and Anaghan's favorite swami, and we are looking forward to talking with him. He sang last night, and he looks even more radiant than he did two years ago when we last saw him. All of the swami's, in fact, seemed to have a fresh glow about them, and it seems that Amma is drawing out the masters in them. They are truly holy people. Swami Ramakrishnananda's new book, "The Blessed Life" is out, and so is a new bhajan book, Bhajanamritam Vol. V. The new bhajans we heard last night are wonderful, and Amma was really rocking. All of my wedding details have been sorted out, which is a good Amma story in itself, will tell later. We will be wed the first Devi Bhava (yes, there will be a first DB!) so if any of you are there I will be the bride in the cream and gold sari with the Brazillian groom in gold. We would be honored if you would join us on the stage during the ceremony. More later. I thought of all of you often, and tonight I will offer my pranams to Amma on the group's behalf. love, Prajna "Children, all of spirituality is contained in that one word: Awareness." - Amma

Guest guest
No, that's Swami Pranavamritananda (who plays tablas), and does indeed sing most gorgeously. Swami Purnamritananda plays the flute, or more recently, carries one of the cameras, and tends to keep his head covered. Guest guest
No, it seems that the two swamis trade tours.
