Guest guest
Dear family, One of the teachings and biggest lessons that Amma is sharing with us and showing us by example, is unconditional love and compassion in all things and in all situations. This seems to be the theme for me right now, while Amma is here in the states. She does not judge us for our shortcomings and the mistakes that we make. She only sees the Love within us and gives us a chance to find that Love within ourselves and within each person we come into contact with. This is not easy to do when something happens which challenges our sense of self....but from personal experience, when ever there is pain, anger or discomfort, when something happens to me, or someone cannot recognize my "greatness", it is always the Ego that is being harmed. The whole point of having a relationship with Amma is so She can help us to release this burden of the Ego which separates.... Once we get passed the discomfort....She is there waiting for us with Open arms...and even every step of the was She is there waiting for us with Open arms. Some of what is mentioned previously about silence and akhanda, is actually more from the stricter SSB format, which tends to turn-off non-Indians. I'm not picking on you, but I've run into this "my experience/your experience" before, and am amazed at how people go strongly with only that. tom Ammachi, "Mahamuni Das" <mahamuni> wrote: > > I must say that this is way, way off as far as I am concerned and in my experience.
