Yes dear Aditya,

the economic progress is certainly a good sign, but it will be able to

wake up hindus is still doubtful.

Today the parents are unaware of our values. Most of hindus do not know

much of our real philosophy so how can we expect them to remove doubts

from their children's minds.

Ignorant hindus can not guide their children towards the truth.

I have rather felt that the youth of today are perhaps more aware of

hinduism than the youths of yesteryears. Most of ids,

defending/explaining hindus are youth IT professionals.

Do we not need a great renaissance for Hinduism? how? when? by whom? it

will be started ?

True babaji, the economic growth isnt necesarily helping our cultural

growth.

For one, Hindus are taught to hate themselves and their culture by our

educational establishment and our Media. It is an uphill struggle,

which is made difficult by the fact Hinduism is a very complex

religon- from Vedantis to Tantriks to Shaktas to Vaishnavs- it is

difficult for one person to know all. It doesnt help that many of

these disciplines keep fighting with each other(with full help of

their egoistical gurus), saying their approach is "better". It is

easier for Chrisitians and Muslims- after all their philosophy is "Do

what God and his priests say, or He will kick your A*s". For them,

just reading their scriptures is enough, with no need of

Sadhna/meditation.

However, with the internet and modern publishing, one can educate

himeself as much as one wants. It is now possible to read rare books

written thousands of years ago by Rishis....so each person who wants

to wake up just has to search the internet and find some good

bookstore. There is some work but not as much as in earlier time when

many interested people didnt know how and where to get info on our

dharma. But even this small work is too much for some people.....

In fact, one might say that the economic situation might make it

worse- if people are fully fed and have comforts, there is less

incentive to remember God. This means they will need more violent

shocks to wake them from their hypotism. So crime, violence, hypocricy

might get worse....

So I have another question, one which has been bothering me- we cant

save the society, so should we become selfish and try to save ourself?

PS- Heres a good joke on how our Media treats our culture. Once an old

Jew was sitting in his garden reading Hitlers "Mein Kampf". A friend

passing by asked "Why are you reading this book that attacks Jews?"

The old Jew replied "It satisfies my ego to read how dangerous and

Powerful us Jews are!"
