Swami came at 9 am and walking to the front railing sat down. He listened to the bhajans till 9.40 am. As swami got up the boy with a rose went up , Swami received the rose but as the student and the Sevadal member -from one of the districts of Karnataka lit the aarathi Swami indicated that He wanted the akhanda bhajan to continue till the evening this used to be the practice for decades till recently. In Brindavan, akhanda bhajans would continue on Thursdays and Sundays from morning to evening when Swami would come and receive aarathi. The members of the men section of the Brindavan bhajan group had secured Swami's permission to present a music program in the evening. So when Swami came and sat down at 4.25pm two members of the bhajan group went up and offered swami a rose and the program sheet. The songs they sung were in Kannada,telugu and hindi. Swami was quite happy and at the end of the nine songs, called the main singers to the dias and blessed them with vibhuti prasadam. Swami then asked for aarathi to be taken. After He had turned they pleaded for a group photograph. Swami very kindly agreed and came back to the railing. Having satisfied the men swami turned to the women and asked why they had not sung today! They had in fact put up a program a few days back. Reminding us that Gods delays are never God's denial, Swami decided to bless them too and called them up the dias. He posed for a photograph. Their hearts were full of joy at this unexpected shower of grace. Each person was trying to get a glance or a word from Swami and the line stretched till the end of the dias. Having blessed all of us Swami retired to Trayee at 5.45pm. 26thMay 2006,Friday Swami came out in the morning at 7.55 am. Even as He walked and stood in the front He asked for the youth members who had sung yesterday. Swami had told them that He would give them an interview. "When do you want?" They had replied "any time Swami" but even in their wildest dreams,they did not expect the boon so soon. Swami sat in the bhajan till 8.30 am. Aarathi Swami returned to Trayee. In the evening Swami came out at 4pm. He was holding in His hand a sheet, which He kept referring to every few minutes even as bhajans were going on. One could see that He was very pleased. Later we came to know that it was a program sheet relating to the 'Yuva vandana-2006' program. 2500 youth from all over Karnataka- the number had to be restricted due to accommodation problems- were arriving in Brindavan tomorrow for a two-day meet to express their love for Swami. Swami sat in the bhajan till 4.30 and returned to Trayee after aarathi. 31st May 2006,Wednesday Today as we sat for darshan, we noticed a special room like structure on the western wing of the stage. The entire stage was very tastefully decorated with flowers and ribbons. Swami came out for darshan at 7.30 am taking everyone by surprise. As Swami came out He noticed the former Foreign Secretary Sri. Maharaja Krishan Rasgotra - a devotee for more than four decades and spoke to him. After Swami came to the stage and sat down, He listened to 3 bhajans, Mr.S.N.S.Murthy (the former director general of Police in Karnataka) in his capacity of convenor of Sai Darshan, Indranagar spoke for a while. He placed at Bhagavan's feet the report of the activities for the year 2005-06. He then prayed to Swami to unveil a photograph of Mother Easwaramma. Swami pressed a remote button and the curtain of the room- like structure in the western end of the dais opened bringing into view Easwaramma's photo symbolically naming the hall on the first floor of Sai darshan as Mother Easwaramma hall. While this was going on a bhajan on Easwaramma was being sung. After a few more bhajans, Swami accepted aarathi and returned to Trayee.Prasadam was distributed In the evening, Swami came out of Trayee at 3.50 PM. As usual He walked to the front and sat on the sofa. At 4.15 Swami told the warden to announce the program for the evening. Aarathi and Swami returned to Trayee. We all assembled in the Kalyan mantapam and about half an hour later we suddenly saw Swami coming in the Porte car into the hall (as it was raining). As Swami took His seat, two small kids who were playing the roles of Kaikeyi and Seeta came and offered Swami a boquet. Swami took the boquet and spoke to them. Then a balvikas student came to the mike to introduce the drama. The Drama titled 'RAMAYANADA RAMANIYARU' then began. It was a drama, which threw light on the women characters of the great epic Ramayana. Swami witnessed the entire drama and as the last song was being sung got up, walked to the Porte parked outside on the gents side and retired for the day.We returned to hastel after receiving prasadam.
