Guest guest
Here is an explanation about the Mayapur Gurukula from the Director, Sri Prahlad. I edited out the non relevent parts for brevity. ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Text PAMHO:7333232 (238 lines) Basu Ghosh (das) ACBSP (Baroda - IN) 08-Oct-03 14:54 (21:24 +0630) ISKCON India (news & discussion) [4741] Cc: Prabhupada Disciples [5615] MRdd and the BA --------------------------- --------------------------- You may want to pass this on to interested persons. Sri Prahlada (das) HDG [sri.Prahlada.HDG (AT) pamho (DOT) net] Dear Vaisnavas, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. A couple people have forwarded me an anonymous letter (attached below) concerning the Bhaktivedanta Academy (BA) in Mayapura. I appreciate the anonymous writer and Madhusudani Radha Mataji's concern for the children, but because the emotionally charged letter is in fact perpetrating misinformation, I more appreciate those concerned persons who forwarded the letter to me, the senior administrator of the Bhaktivedanta Academy, giving me opportunity to respond. For a start, Bhaktividya Purna Maharaja serves the Academy in an advisory capacity and is carefully kept out of managerial decision making. Policy and managerial decisions are made by Priti Vardhana Prabhu (the Academy's general manager and treasurer) and I. Teachers like Vagisa Prabhu and Subeksana Prabhu are also very much involved in the administration of the Academy and participate in daily staff meetings held each morning. Sri Radhe Mataji heads the girls school which has just opened recently.
