Guest guest
Namaste Patricia, The Jupiter in your chart indicates that you have interest in astrology, biblical studies or vedic studies, aside from writing. But I believe you will be able to integrate eventually your western astrological knowledge with jyotish. It only takes a few steps each day. It may seem overwhelming in the beginning. But many of us here without any formal sanskrit training have been able to pick up the major terms to understand the jyotish concepts. As such, you should be able to do so as well. This coming July there will be a jyotish conference in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you have the time, you should attend it. You would be able to meet the movers and shakers of the jyotish movement in the USA and the world. In Oregon, there's Robert Koch, a jyotish practitioner, who may be able to help you. He lives in North Bend. Guest guest
namaste, john. i too believe that if anyone can make a synthesis of eastern and western astrologies it might be someone with my qualities. i'd love to do it. AND i have about a dozen other projects on my plate right now. but i have had a book in mind and in the works for years that teaches beginning astrology using the divisional charts. i've taught that in 3D classes and the students become quite proficient very quickly. if i am in SF in july, i'll attend. but i think i'll be going to seattle, which is in the opposite direction, for a conference where i will be presenting my book. i hope to have a second in the circumcision series ready for the conference. too many hearts are hurt by that trauma for me to put it on the back burner. love, patricia On Jun 1, 2006, at 10:20 PM, John wrote: > The Jupiter in your chart indicates that you have interest in > astrology, biblical studies or vedic studies, aside from writing. > But I believe you will be able to integrate eventually your western > astrological knowledge with jyotish.
