Guest guest
Candace -- My recommendations for your hypertension are: ~ to eat a pure vegetarian diet only ~ eliminate coffee, tea, and tobacco ~ begin a regular hatha yoga practice ~ practice 20 minutes of savasana daily ~ walk daily For Pancha Karma in northern California check out: http://www.dhyanatherapeutics.com/services/panchakarma.html The prices seem very high, though. http://www.ayurveda-berkeley.com/ http://www.ayurvedacollege.com/clinic/index.htm Hope this helps. I know of the Raj in Vedic City, Iowa. But they are an expensive top of the line clinic where they do out patient and inpatient treatments. The cost is high and though I have a friend who lives there and has graciously offered a room in her home, the Raj is still out of my price range. Guest guest
There is a clinic at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM, but I don't think you could do any kind of "weekend" treatment. From what I understand you would always need a weeklong series of treatments for it to work properly. I will be taking their Summer Intensive Panchakarma educational program from June 22-30, and hope to learn a lot. I'm taking their Ayurvedic home study course now, as well. You can look up their website www. ayurveda . com (no spaces) for more information. Good luck.
