Guest guest Posted June 1, 2006 Report Share Posted June 1, 2006 Does anyone know of a clinic in northern California that administers panchakarma treatments? I know of the Raj in Vedic City, Iowa. But they are an expensive top of the line clinic where they do out patient and inpatient treatments. The cost is high and though I have a friend who lives there and has graciously offered a room in her home, the Raj is still out of my price range. I have hypertension and am trying to regain my health. I have been taking the prescribed medications, eating no salt healthy foods, and I'm trying to get more exercise. I live in Sacramento, California and could travel on the weekends to somewhere not too far away and therefore do a treatment for a weekend every month or so until I feel better. The Raj has something called the Chronic Disorders treatments and they develop a program around your specific pulse diagnostic needs related to one of the disorders they treat for. I was diagnosed with hypertension about 8 months ago. and though I take medicine for it, I feel like the disorder is compromising my job and my life. My energy is low and I have what the doctors call generalized anxiety disorder. They refuse to believe that my hypertension is related to any of the physical symptoms of the anxiety disorder. They basically told me to go to the psychologist's treatment program (which I'm doing) and don't come back to Kaiser for the physical symptoms. These can be painful and frightening. Help please!
