Visiting Sai Baba Puttaparthi

Dearest Sai Family,

 

Could any one guide me what is the procesdure to stay in the ashram for a week as I am going to travel alone to be with Baba. My trip is going to be in the last week of Jully this year.

Sai Ram,dear Kavita,

When you come to ashram, Prasanthi Nillayam, in Puttapatrhy,( Swami

is usually there at this time of the year ) go to the main gate for

chek in, and than to ACCOMODATION OFFICE (North 8 building). There

you will check in with passeport and pay for staying and take a room

or doormitore (depens of how many people there  is in ashram at that

moment ; if you want to be in room , it is addvaiseble to you to

find a friend because it is not possible to have a room for only one

person ). Working time of accomodation office depens on darshan

time; so if you come in time when darshan is, you will have to wait.

I am not sure about darshan timings, but someone of this wonderfull

group will know..

Also, there is a possibility for you to keep your money, passport

etc . in locker room in ashram ( the same place where accomodation

office is ) which is safe and guarded 24hours. But, if you need any

other information, there are wonderfull seva dals in ashram and they

will lead you.

This is a coincidence; I am going to Puttaparti in July too; I am

traveling from london

 

When you reach the prasanti nilayam ashram, go direct at

accomodation office to register; you will be given a room at a small

price if there is a room of free or you will be given the dormitory

for a smaller price; in the dormitory many people share the same

hall, toilet and bathroom; all women, men have separate dormitory.If

you donate regularly to ashram or to organisation in your

country,bring your donor card for room accomodation.

SaiRam sister Kavita, Our beloved swami will guide you But as far as

I know if you are going to Parthi (Swami is presently in Whitefield

Bangalore In July there is Ashadaekadasi and gurupoornima swami

might come to Parthi for those festivals please check before

departure.) If you are overseas devotee then proceed to North block

8 and they will give you proper accommodation for a week. If you are

from India or Nepal then there is accommodation office opposite to

the canteen The people at the asram will guide you. If you go to

Bangalore, brindavan then you can get accommodation outside or get

guidance from the volunteers over there. Pray you get good darshan.

sai ram,

 

This is very simple to stay at puuttaparthi ashram.I don't know that

you are indian or NRI .After reaching puttaparthi,sevadal at main

gate of ashram guide for  accmodation.there is much more accmodation

for stay for a week except festival days.
