Guest guest
Hi Marla, I have been using Goravani Jyotish 2.5 since 1997 on my Mac/Macs - OS10.4 now - with not a single problem and i can highly recommend it to you. Das created a patch a couple of years ago, a bridge so to speak from Classic to OSX - therefore: No problemo. There are many, many features in the program that i am still discovering after all this time - the teacher/feature willl appear when you are ready and in the exactly right moment:)) It is a great program. Das also built a lot of tutorials into it, which might be very helpful in the beginning of your studies. I also own Das' Jyotish Studio 3, however i did not have the time yet to get myself really familiar with it (old cow in front of new barn door syndrome), but i use GJ2.5 every day with great confidence and ease. Note - the ease didnt come necessarily easy....actually it took me many years, many hours to learn, every day a little more and i still have a very, very long way to go - Patricia, do you read this? It seems to be the same with everything very big or small you are trying to master - maybe it be yourself or "just" Photoshop, or anything that is new to you. I feel, It is an incredibly daring task to understand the "science of light" - jyotish - and all its implications. You will be richly rewarded if you have tons of patience and passion, time to study. In my life experience you might be given every day another little piece of the whats puzzling you-puzzle, thats why i am looking forward to getting up in the morning....most of the time...just kidding. Dear Marla, buy Goravani Jyotish 2.5 and you will not regret it. Blessings and love to you all, Sabine (Still stubbornly trying to crack the nut with a feather) http://pbase.com/stetsa valist, Marla S Wilson <marla wrote: > > Is anyone using osx with a sidereal or Joytish software any problems > or suggestions? > Marla > On May 27, 2006, at 10:45 AM, valist wrote: >

AND/OR have everything stated in plain english. i am a very 'user-friendly' type person-writer, myself and my work this lifetime i see as making things that seem to be complex, easy. so right now i am still dazzled and confused by the language barrier. i think it all could be said more simply. astrological principles are universal. the hindi language is not. i am not really all that interested in learning hindi. i'd like to be able to grasp the science of jyotish without learning a new language and adopting a new/old religion. i am too busy right now to tweak my brain. and yet i want to learn jyotish. very frustrating. das, let's talk. ok? you could enlarge your potential audience tremendously if americans could easily grasp this brand of astrology. right now you are limited to people who are hip to the language and/or VERY dedicated astrologers. there's got to be an easier way to learn jyotish. love, patricia
