Perhaps that speaks for itself? One brief comment here, perhaps: This is hardly a defence, but I would note that if this conference goes, then there does not seem to be any one other conference on PAMHO for rather discussion of a generalised nature. Some may say go to Grand-disciples - but that only applies if you are one, or if you want to talk about something related to Prabhupada's mission and ISKCON. Okay, then...go to Krsna-katha - no, everything has to be quote there. Where else do we have? My point is this - and I apologise for making it in such a convoluted way - but we have a broad group of people here, and we have a nice opportunity to discuss all kinds of things. Yes, the conference may be quite underused right now, but that is not a bad thing, nor is it anything to worried about. If we could all remember to be simply curteous to each other and to refrain from making remarks that can potentially be interpreted in a damaging manner (e.g. there are times when we say one thing, but it soudns like something else), then there is no harm in just keeping this conference. Like I say, it's a nice grouping in which we can discuss things without becoming too specialised, going too much in depth, etc. Surely that's worth something?
