Harinama Sankirtana Festival Tour - North America

 

Are you a bus driver, book distributor, or youth who wants to

experience the Krishna conscious summer of a lifetime?

 

This summer of 2004 will be the tenth anniversary of the Hare

Krishna Youth Festival of India Harinama Sankirtana bus tour. From

June 24th till August 22nd, two buses will travel with 75 youth ages

16-25, plus older devotee chaperones, bus drivers, book distributors

and swamis, who will help set up, perform kirtanas and dramas at,

and take down eight major Ratha-yatra festivals in North America,

including Chicago, Washington D.C., Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Los

Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver.

 

In addition, they will visit and perform devotional dramas and

kirtanas at some 21 temples in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, and

participate in outdoor adventure activities, swimming, canoeing,

whitewater rafting, camping, hiking at national parks.

 

Wherever they go with the big yellow "Hare Krishna Youth Ministry"

festival buses, they will no doubt draw attention. In bus tour tradition,

every weekend there will be a major Harinama with festival flyer and

book distribution before each Ratha-yatra.
