This is to inform all the devotees that HH Sridhara Swami Maharaja arrived

this morning to Sri Mayapur Dham from a very long journey from Vancouver -

Canada via London to Calcutta airport at 4:30 am and to Mayapur at 8:30 am,

His Holiness was assisted by His disciple Gargamuni das. HH Indradyumna

Swami came with him from London to Mayapur.

 

I am preparing a complete report to be sent with pictures in few hours to

all of you and to our websites, for now i am sending this small report with

one file of pictures.

 

It was great and amazing to see the warm wellcome to His Holiness Sridhara

Swami Maharaja given by all the devotees and all His Godbrothers from the

time of arrival in the main gate with ecstatic kirtans all the way till the

Main temple and than to his room in the conch building.

 

His Holiness arrived at 8:30 am, HH Jayapataka Swami sent his van to receive

Maharaja since it was more comfortable for him siince the journey is for

almost 4 hours from the airport, also HG Gaurnarayana Prabhu (BCS) who is a

doctor went to the airport to receive His holiness and to be assisting Him

for his journey to Mayapur dham, a part from HH Indradyumna Swami also 2

assistants of Maharaja came with them, Gargamuni das and Mayapur das

prabhus.

 

HH Sridhara Swami is a very dear disciple of our Founder Acarya His Divine

Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. For the last few years his health

was deteriorating and recently they discovered a large cancerous tumor on

his liver and "statistically" the cancer has spread to other parts of his

body. Therefore he is not eligible to receive a liver transplant. His

Holiness decided to be in Mayapur for the rest of His Life and be present

with all the devotees in Mayapur Dham for the Deity Installation and the

108th birth Anniversary of Srila Prabhupada programs.

 

After arriving to the Temple and receiving Darshan from all the Deities, His

Holiness went to his room with many senior devotees and after chatting with

most of them took little Mahaprasada that gave him strength while there was

Bhajans in the room, and at 10:30 am His Holiness participated in the

Bhajans leaded by Their Holinesses Sivarama Swami, Niranjana Swami and

Bhaktibhaivaba Swami that lasted until 12:00 noon when he would take

prasadam and than rest. His condition is good as we could see and always

talking and joking with the devotees.

 

For the pleasure of all the devotees in few hours I will send a complete

report with many pictures on this occasion.

 

It is very important to mention that today's lecture of Srimad Bhagavatam

was cancelled to receive Maharaja from the main gate since it was at the

same arrival time as well as I would like to say that the love and affection

that all the devotees and especially Srila Prabhupada's Disciples showed

today was amazing, we could see this and much more from all the devotees in

general how the mode was as brothers and sisters of one great family.

 

We pray to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radhamadhava, Sri Sri Pancatattva

Bhagavan and Sri Sri Prahlada Nrishimadeva to protect and to improve the

health conditions of Maharaja so His Holiness would always be able to serve

His Divine Guru Srila Prabhupada.
