GBC meetings, started February 11 th 2004 in Sri Mayapur Dham

Today February 11th 2004 the GBC annual General meeting 2004 started and

will last for 10 days, most of the Members are present assisting to the

meetings as well as to all the activities that we have programmed during

these auspicious festivals.

 

Part of the agendas of the GBC members are the financial and zonal Secretary

reports as well as a brief overview of their agendas, since it is the first

day of the meetings.

 

It is important to mention that today was very special for all since we

celebrate the Appearance day of Srila Bhaktisidhhanta Saraswati Thakura

Prabhupada and the disappearance day of Sri Purusottama Das Thakura and

Srila Gour Govinda Swami a very dear disciple of our Founder Acarya Srila

A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

 

All the GBC members participated in all these ceremonies including the Grand

Opening Ceremony of the Pushpa Samadhi of Srila Gour Govinda Swami in

Mayapur near Srila Prabhupada Pushpa Samadhi and beside Srila Tamal Krsna

Goswami's Samadhi.

 

This year the GBC members will have one hour kirtan between 5:00 and 6:00 pm

that is the most auspicious yajna in the Holydham of Mayapur.
