Guest guest
Anne, For the determination of the Ishta Devata, the 12th from Karakamsha in Navamsha has to be taken. In fact, Sanjay Ji has distinguished the Karakamsha Rashi in the Rashi chakre by referring to it as the Karakamshaka Lagna adding 'ka' at the end. Best wishes. Guest guest
Om namaste Ganapataye Dear Anne, Karakamsha means position of Atma Karaka IN NAVAMSA. So 12th from Karakamsa-in Navamsa. Hope it helps, Voja , anne thakur <annethakur> wrote: > > please assist me is the 12th fromkaramsha to be taken > in navamsha or rasi? > kindly > anne > > > > Tired of spam? Guest guest
|| hare räma kåñna || Dear Anne, Namaskar karaka means significator, and amsa means division, so whenever we're dealing with karakamsa it's always in the vargas - specifically the navamsa. So we look at the 12th from the Atmakaraka in the Navamsa chart. Guest guest
Om namaste ganapataye Dear Rafal, as you said, Karaka Lagna is position of AK in D1, but Karakamsaka is D9 position of AK turned back in D1 (ka is Brahma bija, so reffers to D1). Guest guest
Dear Ms. Anne, My 2 cents on this. The word explains itself. It is Karakamsa, i.e., in which rasi AK comes in Navamsa. So the Ishta Devata is to be seen 12th from Karakamsa in Navamsa. Suppose Sun is the AK in rasi and it comes in Gemeni rasi in Navamsa, then 12th from Gemeni i.e., Taurus is to be seen for Ishta Devata. The planet/s placed in Taurus give the first indication of the Ishta Devata, if not, then the lord Venus etc. Sorry for intrusion, I am learning.
