Guest guest
Prafulla ji, Ketu is surgical in nature, and does have physical manifestations as well. I delivered a baby boy by an emergency C-Sec. I was born in Ketu Mahadasha, in moola nakshatra 4th charan. Somehow your saying that "ketu create a inbuilt sacrifice at subconscious level for the events / persons etc." strikes a cord. But i believe that any form of generosity/sacrifice is also the vanity of giving. One doesnt do, if it doesnt please at a level. Regards _________ Try the all-new Mail. Guest guest
ji In worldly terms, many a times we give away things / feelings etc- for our desires /motives /pleasure / sacrifice etc. Ketu has role for sacrifice at subconscious level, for inner pleasure. Giving is not necessarily a pleasure for all the people; may be feeling good at subconscious level (with the time) is key to unlock ketu in the chart. regards / Prafulla , <> wrote: > > Prafulla ji, > > Ketu is surgical in nature, and does have physical > manifestations as well. Guest guest
Dear Prafulla and , Nodes have been portrayed as surrogates and sponges. Some say nodes take over the role of the planet they are placed with in a chart, others say, they suck the planet placed with them dry, in either case rendering the associated planet powerless in a sense! The latter thought comes from, obviously, the eclipses when nodes are believed to remove sun or moon, pretty much entirely even for several minutes if not forever! Sucking may have many meanings for others, but right now, the meanings and purposes that come to mind are sucking for nutrition (baby), sucking the poison out (after a snake or other poisonous insect bite), sucking excess water away (a sump-pump in the case of floods that are affecting many of the places that show up on my weather channel), sucking as in cleaning (all of these Hoover vacuum cleaning devices that rid us of dust and dirt and allergens and keep our immediate reality really clean, and sucking up (to the boss -- I know many here are suffering because of their jobs and other things that can all be rectified by the ancient jyotish remedy of sucking up (to a gem, or God or Goddess, or the King or the ...). Now, does that mean that the periods of the nodes, the big suckers (that does not sound right!) are when we should really be sucking up or sucking it in and tolerating the miseries and through such dire humiliation alone and despite that getting to know ourselves and tolerating our true selves are we to come out of the eclipse of the spirit and mind (sun and moon)? Is that what the lunar nodes are trying to teach us through their childish physical demonstration (the lunar/solar eclipse thing) and the fact that not the entire earth experiences the eclipse (yet another poignant message from the heavens?)! <Message on Tibet coming up in due course> , "Prafulla Gang" <ripra_solutions> wrote: > > ji > > In worldly terms, many a times we give away things / feelings etc- for > our desires /motives /pleasure / sacrifice etc. Ketu has role for > sacrifice at subconscious level, for inner pleasure. Guest guest
Dear Ranjan ji "sucking" is a right word - can be perceived as negative and positive in worldly terms. and may be, by putting native on the path of self realization and tolerance - makes the journey less painful. Also, rahu / ketu have tendencies to take away towards the end of dasha, whatever they have given during their respective periods; perhaps - they have a bigger role in directing a native towards karmic debts / obligations. regards / Prafulla , "crystal pages" <rrgb> wrote: > > Dear Prafulla and , > > Nodes have been portrayed as surrogates and sponges. Guest guest
Dear Prafulla, Sometimes they even take away, that which they promised to give but never really did ;-) That is the best gift, though because after the initial shock and disappointment, (after a few years!) it even makes one laugh! Guest guest
Dear Ranjan ji Yes. I always found it (ketu) very inconsistent in terms of results in my chart readings (initially, when I started learning astrology, I used to read). Perhaps, for my lack of clarity on ketu or my poor prediction oriented astrology. and at one stage, I gave up chart readings. I have seen ketu giving excellent results (even materialistic)in its mahadasha, when most astrologers predicted it as worst possible period. example - native (old business associate and client in my management consulting business - when i was in middle east) March 3, 1967 Kota DOB - I will confirm tomorrow... scorpio lagna with debilitated moon, mars / ketu in 12th house, saturn /venus in meena 5th house, exalted guru in 9th house, sun / mercury in 4th house kumbha, rahu in mesha - 6th house. Native got engaged in his family business (ver small sized) and it grown like any thing during ketu mahadasha from 1996. It did not take back, anything towards the end. At some stage, I concluded that for ketu in 2nd from A2, gave this wealth. Also, when with mars (though lagnesh in 12th), it is assumed that dhan yoga gets affected (for sustainability)..but so far I see the native worth 100 crores. There are many such charts, where ketu period have been very successful, without much fuss. regards / Prafulla Gang , "crystal pages" <rrgb> wrote: > > Dear Prafulla, > > Sometimes they even take away, that which they promised to give but > never really did ;-) > > That is the best gift, though because after the initial shock and > disappointment, (after a few years!) it even makes one laugh! > > RR > > , "Prafulla Gang" > <ripra_solutions@> wrote: > > > > Dear Ranjan ji > > > > "sucking" is a right word - can be perceived as negative and > positive > > in worldly terms. and may be, by putting native on the path of self > > realization and tolerance - makes the journey less painful. > > > > Also, rahu / ketu have tendencies to take away towards the end of > > dasha, whatever they have given during their respective periods; > > perhaps - they have a bigger role in directing a native towards > karmic > > debts / obligations. > > > > regards / Prafulla > > > > , "crystal pages" <rrgb@> > wrote: > > > > > > Dear Prafulla and , > > > > > > Nodes have been portrayed as surrogates and sponges. Guest guest
Dear Prafulla, I would most certainly like to study such charts using KAS. If you have some such charts with accurate data and some past events it would be a good study. If you can post the same on KAS list it will be great. Good to read your post after long time. Thanks, Cheers !!! Ash , "Prafulla Gang" <ripra_solutions> wrote: > > Dear Ranjan ji > > Yes. Guest guest
Dear Ash, I have been a regular passive reader in KAS list, and believe you in me - KAS offers very fine tuned approach to event prediction. Somehow, my subdued predictive ability (or lack of desire for my pre occupation), does not push me for predictive participation. Yes, I always look forward to understand the rationale and consistency of any method in practice; and enjoyed the predictive approach of KAS. I have requested for the birth time, for chart in question; and will be able to post it on KAS list by tomorrow. I had a good compliation of charts for financial status related issues (specially for the natives, who made good money and few of them who could not sustain). I will extract them from archives and post them on both the lists. This has always been the most provoking area of chart reading for me (may be due to my professional background of financial consulting). Hope all is well at your end. regards / Prafulla , "ashsam73" <ashsam73.> wrote: > > Dear Prafulla, > I would most certainly like to study such charts using KAS. Guest guest
Dear Prafulla, Thanks. Things are good at my end. I am looking for charts as u said that have had major turning points in life be it so upward or downward trend. You must know that I am very sceptical about charts throw about big name personalities, actors or actress or even politicians and most of them dont have proper birth times. Its just a waste of times and energy. So when we get good charts with concrete events with such major ups and downs.. its really worth spending time and energy and effort to time all events and study and find the consistency. There is so much to learn, and it all begins with a proper chart with perfect or very close to perfect birth details eh..... So along with this chart, which I appreciate you taking pains to get exact data and some events and periods of rise etc, if u also have some other charts with events and some "turning points" it will be make for very good study. I hope things are good at your end too. Cheers !!! Guest guest
Hi If you would like, I can offer you my father's birth details. The birth details are accurate as well. He is now 60 years old so there is a good mix of events. I would say he has had many ups and downs in life (health, career, money, moved from India, losses/successes abroad etc). , "ashsam73" <ashsam73.> wrote: > > Dear Prafulla, > Thanks. Guest guest
Prafulla, I am not disagreeing with you at all, in concept! Ketu and rahu are very capable of giving a lot of not just worldly but spiritual riches too, but in both of these gifts rests a possibility of their distracting one from what would be considered important, perhaps much later on, by that nativity. Does that happen 100% of times, they ask? Does anything in astrology?? But I will wait for the full data when and if you wish to share. My response may be private because I realize that different ayanamshas etc would change the specifics of what was ruling and so on, and I am very sensitive to creating confusion in beginners (who else listens? ;-) for clarity2020 was not a monniker chosen lightly -- it was a vow, a pledge, with no arrogance implied or intended. Sometimes, I feel, it would have been so much easier if I could play with other kids in the same 'sandbox' using the same sand! But I must live through my karma, I suppose :-( RR , "Prafulla Gang" <ripra_solutions> wrote: > > Dear Ranjan ji > > Yes. Guest guest
Dear Ranjan ji I remember this chart and his date of birth; for time of birth - I have posted him mail. and will post immediately upon getting it. (all my data are in backup files, and will take lots of time to dig). Meanwhile, let me share an intersting chart detail - male Nov 8, 1966 11.30 AM jodhpur - india (73E04 / 26N17) In this chart, most planets are around bhava madhaya; native lacks complete initiative; have terribly spoiled marital life; excellent education background but weak career too. Venus / ketu / Sun in 11th - though venus in its own house - badly damaged; moon / mars / saturn fail to deliver; even exaltd guru aspecting 7th lord budha fails. regards / Prafulla Gang , "crystal pages" <rrgb> wrote: > > Prafulla, > > I am not disagreeing with you at all, in concept! Guest guest
Dear Ash, What you say is very valid and we in the jyotish community have seen many examples of such frustrating heart-breaks and will continue to see same. In fact in at least one article, a very well written article otherwise, the author chose to give the data of several actors and actresses but did not specify if it was LMT or IST, WT or what, and reported using times given in the AM/PM format as well as 24h format, without specifying which is which and caused problems to readers, I am sure. Moreover, this cute new tendency of giving longitude and latitude instead of just naming the place has its problems too because atlases vary and if there is a cuspal birth, good luck to the serious student of astrology! However, on the other hand, good quality data for celebrities is availalbe in databases and is useful because generally speaking most ordinary individuals live ordinary lives and do not go through the ups and downs you want to study. Celebrities on the other hand tend to have these more often, hence remain attractive as a sample for this kind of study. Rohiniranjan , "ashsam73" <ashsam73.> wrote: > > Dear Prafulla, > Thanks.
