Bhagavan assured me that He would take care of me... (A devotee's experience)

Smt. A.Priyamvada (46), working as a lecturer in a local college at Hyderabad, has several mystic experiences of which she narrates a few in her own words.

'In 1993, I had some health problem affecting my spine for which I underwent spinal surgery. Unfortunately, it failed.

One day I went to Mrs. Usha, our neighbour. When I broke a coconut in their pooja room, there was no water in it, but it contained vibhuti.

In May 1996, I went to Brindavan and had Darshan of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Since then my health has improved perceptibly.

In June and July 1996, several miracles like shower of vibhuti appeared in our house. One day I was wondering about all that when the Telugu letters, meaning 'I am Sri Sathya Sai Baba' appeared on the vibhuti showered in our pooja room on the floor, Aum symbol appeared on the cooker which was on the stove. The footprints of Bhagavan also appeared in vibhuti in the pooja room.

We kept one bathroom for Swami exclusively in our house. Bhagavan's footprints appeared in that room also. The footprints wore vibhuti marks.

Once Bhagavan assured me in the astral plane that I should not worry and that He would take care of me. At that time I had no problems. I could not understand why Bhagavan was reassuring me like this. This happened in 1995. After a few weeks, I lost my mother. Then I realized why Bhagavan had tried to reassure me. He was preparing me for the coming event fortifying my mindset with spiritual orientation.'
