Guest guest
I do not know who you are but, I know one thing ..you are a very special person and, I thank you for the eloquent and loving e-mail you sent about vegetarian-non-vegetarian food....I have just finished writing a book named"The Auspicious Goat"and it is about a goat Sai Baba gave us. It contains hundreds of pictures. The final manuscript came back last Friday. It is a very different book than any other Sai Baba book. I have a whole section on not eating meat and the book is illustrated with the auction at Hackettestown,New Jersey,USA and the editor did not have any pictures of the animal auction. This was the only section that needed to be re-done again which meant my husband had to drive 4 hours from Long Island to take pictures. The last time he was there was 25 years ago and he had nightmares for weeks afterwards. Now Sai Baba was sending him again... He left 4:30 this morning and just arrived home at 11:00 tonight in pain ,upset and telling me about all the baby sheep crying for their mothers and that he still could not detach from it all...especially the sign saying "ALL ANIMALS AUCTIONED ARE FOR SLAUGHTER ONLY".I felt so bad for him and decided to go on the computer and opened the first e-mail on the list of 158 e-mails today....and there you were ...... Your e-mail helped me realize he was on a special mission for Sathya Sai Baba today. We now have 3 rolls of the ugliness of animal handling and auctioning for my book. You see 25 years ago he jumped into the ring and took the cattle electric prod and turned it on the man electrifying the veal calves that couldn't walk. He wasn't emotionally strong enough to take pictures. ....I just went into my husband and told him how wonderful your e-mail was .....He felt happier and said .The trip was paid for I found 100 dollars in Hackettestown.. Guest guest
I understand that animal rights are fighting to save animal experiment fordrug testing etc. I am confused with this culture of eating meat while stopping experiments on animals. At the end of the day, wehat matters most is the complete stop of all eating meat and experiments and instead experiment on the matters that matters most, that is try to love god and see all in god and god in all. Guest guest
sai ram your statement has hit the nail on the head. it is double standards to talk about stoppage of animal experiments and eat meat. i sincerely join you in voicing your opinion. man is the most sophisticated animal and he bears the right to do experiments that would benifit mankind. i do not really think that anyone would even take a tablet of paracetamol unless it is proven to safe in animal testing. with man exploring science to the fullest it becomes inevitable for him to safeguard human interests first. it becomes even more inevitable if the affected person is our own kith and kin. that does not necessarily mean cruelty to animals. i would sincerely like to here from sai brothers and sisters whether swami has voiced his opinion in this matter. jai sairam loka samastha sukino bavanthhu dr.srinivasan vaidya United Kingdom. --- narendra kumar lodhia <KUMNA1 (AT) HOTMAIL (DOT) COM> wrote: > I understand that animal rights are fighting to save > animal experiment > fordrug testing etc. > I am confused with this culture of eating meat while > stopping experiments on > animals...... _________________________
