AUM SAI RAM

Dear Brother Sarjit,

You may wish to chant the Morning Prayer, the Sree Sathya Sai Suprabhatham, when you rise at five in the morning. The Suprabhatham is a prayer for  an auspicious day break. It is very potent, very powerful. Before you start with the prayer, you must first clean your mouth and  have a wash; light an agarbathi and a diya; place a small utensile containing  clean water near the diya. Sit in lotus posture; close your eyes;do not let your mind wander and concentrate on your third eye. Watch your breathing; join your hands together, the two palms lightly touching each other; start with three times AUM and immeduately after -

Uttishtha Sathya Sayeesa...( o son of iswaramma, o lord of the universe, yours is a blessed morning!)

Articulate and pronounce each word carefully and slowly; it is important that you utter the right word; for example , you cannot say 'aam' instead of 'aum', 'aam' meaning 'mango', you see.

I do not pretend to be an expert at' prayers' ; however I have, more than once, experienced the power of  this particular prayer.

I did post this prayer with the English translation on saibabanews last year; you may wish to ask our webmaster to retrieve a copy for you from his archives; this gentleman will be too glad to oblige.
