Japa Yagna Conclusion...160 lakhs (16 milliions) chanting done!

By the divine grace of Pujya Sri Swamiji, the japa yagna had gone on

very well over the past 64 days, on this sacred occasion of our

Sadguru, Sri Swamiji's 64th Birthday.  We started out with a goal of

chanting 64 lakhs (6.4 million times) japam in 64 days for the 64th

birthday.

 

It should bring immense joy to all the Datta Family members, His

children, to know that His Holiness led us to accomplish an astounding

160 lakhs (16 million times) Japa count of Sri Sadguru Deva's name!  It

is a blessing to all of us from His Holiness, to do the japa, and to

spend the time the way did, over the past two months.

 

The names along with the counts have all been sent to Mysore Ashrama, to

be submitted to the Holy Lotus Feet of Pujya Guru Deva, in the morning

of May 26 (the birthday date).

 

By the grace of Sri Guru Datta, may we all be blessed with more and more

such opportunities in the days to come!  By His grace, may we spend more

and more of our (daily) time in thinking about Him, in singing about

Him, in chanting about Him,...!  May we be blessed with Viveka

(discretion) and strive for what is real and eternal!  May we follow

the Master and finish the game!
