Guest guest
Dear Richardji, Here are a few late updates. The Godavari river which originates near the Triambakeshwar jyotirlinga in the Nasik district of Maharashtra is associated with lord Shiva. The sacred river Narmada is believed to have descended from the sky by the order of Lord Shiva. The Narmada Shiva Lingams are highly coveted - especially the ones from Omkareshwar. The Kaveri river is associated with Lopamudra, Brahma's daughter who was married to Agastya muni. Though not included in the 7 Holy rivers, Brahmaputra associate with Lord Brahma and river Krishna associate with Lord Krishna can definitely be classified as Holy rivers. Another sacred product of the Rudraksha tree is known as Rudrani. It is a small 1mm to 1.5 mm seed which is found with the Rudrakash flower when it starts blooming and then drops off. Some people wear a mala of it round their neck. On 5/24/06, Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 > wrote: > Dear Diva Devi, > > Namaste!!! Yes, it is long over due. Guest guest
The tiny beads of Rudrani which are rare to find and are wonderful in effect are said to be the female part of the Rudraksha. It is kept in puja rooms along with Rudraksha to get the results of the totality of the Shiva – Parvati jori. Those who keep this jori in their place of worship get all the material pleasures in this birth and salvation after death. Here is the pic of rudrani mala:- sacred-objects/spnew/view/f5a9?i=182 thanks amit uniyal sacred-objects, "mudigantisai" <mudigantisai> wrote: > > Namaste Panditji, > > Kindly provide more details about these rudrani seeds. Guest guest
Dear Sai, The Rudrani beads which come from the Rudraksha flowers are small and not as strong as Rudrakshas. Can be strung as mala. Some people wear it round their neck. I like the feeling they give. On 5/25/06, mudigantisai <mudigantisai > wrote: > Namaste Panditji, > > Kindly provide more details about these rudrani seeds.
