Guest guest
I have toenail fungus and I'm trying to treat it with tea tree oil. Is there anything else that I could try? Thanks in advance! Suzanne
Guest guest
This is not ayurvedic but it works. File it down some and put Vicks salve on it every night. It makes it thinner and eventually the fungus goes away. I saw it in a newspaper article and tried it myself. It is really amazing. Guest guest
I think it is mostly aromatic oils like menthol, eucalyptus, cedar, thyme, and petroleum jelly to hold it all together. It is wonderful stuff. Borax is really good too, we use it to boost laundry soap and make the clothes cleaner and it kills roaches without hurting household pets. I wonder if neem oil would help? Or is that one of the bitter herbs you mentioned? I am really crazy about neem lately. I bought some of the powder and put it in a bath and used it to sooth my skin. I have psoriasis and it took all the itch and irritation away and made the skin feel really soft. I also wonder if this would work for plantar's warts. We used to get them at the swimming pool and used all kinds of stuff to try to get rid of them; nothing worked till I started soaking them in tea tree oil and warm water.
