I remember cranking up Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" as a 9th grader (or in the summer between 8th and 9th grade) great stuff for an impressionable 13 year old kid.. but let's not forget the finest of all 1970s heavy metal thrash songs.. "Smoke on the water" by Deep Purple!! Keval Tired of spam? Mail has the best spam protection around
Guest guest
Led Zeppelin was definitely 1971. Nierika must have had a typo. Nothing quite like that was out in '61.

Guest guest
Oh yes, I know that friggin ghost feeling. People have written books which included descriptions of everyone in the room except me. (Zen monastery stories). Ashramites have said "oh were you there?" when I was there every weekend for 8 years. I really do feel invisible at times. Guest guest
Namaste Manoj and Cheer Up ! Perhaps, you are becoming "I am No-thing!" Isn't that our goal ~ surrendering the person who we think we are? On the other hand, if you sign your posts that might help people remember whose post it is. amma bless, amarnath Ammachi, "manoj_menon" <ammademon> wrote: > > Ammachi, "n2amma" <a1driane@> wrote: > > > > Led Zeppelin was definitely 1971. It is amazing you wrote 2 issues that, to me, are connected: 1. surrendering. 2. signing off posts. Long ago it came to me that I wil either sign off posts as "jai ma!" or nothing. rarely do I put my name to it. The only reason behind that was I realized that "I" am not writing, it is really Amma writing through me. hence I could not taint anything written through me by adding my name after the post. hence just the "jai ma!" sign offs. The not writing my name at the bottom is my sincere attempt to "surrender" even my words as coming from the Divine.... it's a different thing that one may not find it so divine or inspiring! >From a functional worldly viewpoint, if people really wanted to know "who" wrote it, my name and my id are on display at the top, so they can know which version of Amma wrote the post! (lol! that came out good i think). I realize that this advantage is lost when there is reply after reply after reply but then that would have been the case even if i had signed my name to it! Jai Ma!
