Astro Signatures for High Blood Pressure

Could you'll please throw some light on combinations in one Natal Chart that give rise to high blood pressue problems ?

Also how can one tell whether such problems are transitory or permanent ? I was told that MARS in general rules blood and high blood pressure, while KETU rules high blood pressure.

But that is about all I know.The reason i was interested was because just a couple of days back, I was diagonised with high BP anfd hence this question.

Namaskar. According to Brihat

Parasara Hora Sashtra (BPHS, Chapter 3 Sloka 31), Chandra rules blood

(rakta dhatu) whereas Mangal rules marrow (majja dhatu) in the body.

Chandras affliction with Mangal (especially for people with

Chandra-mangal yoga) causes high blood pressure. Chandra also rules

heart and its affliction can cause heart diseases and consequently

fluctuating blood pressure too. Rahu's affliction can cause blood cancer

etc. (Rahu rules unwanted/unrestrained growth ) etc. In this way

afflictions need to be understood. Graha-drishti can cause temporary

high especially if dasa is supporting.

Rafal Guru Ji made anote on Ve/mar with Moon .

Do you think Ve causes HBP , I think Venus being Jaltattva , i dont see ve+moon causing HBP.

Mar+Moon is ok , seems reasonable.

Dear JL, Namaskar

You are back? I thought you left.

Mars and Venus are the natural lords of the 2nd and 8th houses, and when

they join the Moon they form Rudra Yoga. During a Shoola dasa associated

with the rudra yoga, they can give high blood pressure, because of increased

pressure on the body during that period.

However, blood pressure diseases are caused by planets placed in the third

kauluka, which is 10-15 degrees of any sign. If planets posited therein are

disease causing planets, then surely the blood pressure problems will

result.

Yes I agree with your analysis but I wonder how can two Jaltattvas cause Blood Pressure?? Moon is karaka for forth house , even though he rules blood , I dont think venus and moon combination people will have HBP as I have that combination.

My friend has Mars and Venus in fourth so his probablity cannot be ruledout.

Dear JL, Namaskar

The point is not whether they are jala tattva or not, but that Moon is the

rakta dhatu and thus rules the blood, and any extreme manipulation of this

causes extremities in the pressure. Hence, the extreme exaltation (taurus -

venus) and the extreme debilitation (scorpio-mars) can cause the blood

pressure to rise and fall dramatically.

Now, this combination is not a permanent problem, as i said before: it

happens when the shoola dasa is associated with the yoga.

I also have this combination and it arose in my years 9-18, during which i

was an extremely agressive personality and rash. During this time i was also

a very fast runner on the local soccer team, and quite explosive both on and

off the field (thank God for Cancer Navamsa lagna). I didn't really calm

down fully until i was 18. So all that energy of the rudra yoga is being

used during that time. But, i do not have any subsceptability for

blood-pressure diseases as no planets occupy the 3rd kauluka hence this was

not a permanent issue.

However, my father has had problems with low-blood pressure.

Place: 10 E 10' 00", 57 N 28' 00"

Sixth lord Mercury is joined eighth lord Sun and Venus in the badhaka

sthana. Here Venus is placed in the third kauluka and thus forming the blood

pressure problems. Primary affliction is by Rasi dristi and is not severe

showing an inborn weakness for the problem.

Sanjay Rath also has the problem

Place: 84 E 01' 00", 21 N 28' 00"

Sambalpur, India

Here Mercury, Mars and Venus are all placed in the third kauluka. Among

these Mercury is placed in the sixth house and is badhakesh. Mars is placed

in badhaka sthana itself, whilst Venus is eighth lord and joined sixth lord.

All three are capable of giving blood related problems, and he does suffer

quite severely from this.

Both cases have a Rudra Yoga forming, but i must stress that this isn't the

main source of the problem.

As for your leaving jyotish, i will not like to predict inauspicious things,

as leaving jyotish is like leaving the vedas, being that it is an anga of

the vedas.. I wish you the best of luck with your continued studies.

Some of what you say makes sense. My moon if you remember is in the Scopio rashi. And I am running the Venus- mars dasa.

But since i am not in know of how to use Shoola Dasa I cannot comment further. But just for the sake of your analysis I am here with providing you with my birth details so that I can learn from your analysis as to whether this condition in my case is temporary or a protracted one.

The point is not whether they are jala tattva or not, but that Moon is the

rakta dhatu and thus rules the blood, and any extreme manipulation of this

causes extremities in the pressure. Hence, the extreme exaltation (taurus -

venus) and the extreme debilitation (scorpio-mars) can cause the blood

pressure to rise and fall dramatically.

Now, this combination is not a permanent problem, as i said before: it

happens when the shoola dasa is associated with the yoga.

I also have this combination and it arose in my years 9-18, during which i

was an extremely agressive personality and rash. During this time i was also

a very fast runner on the local soccer team, and quite explosive both on and

off the field (thank God for Cancer Navamsa lagna). I didn't really calm

down fully until i was 18. So all that energy of the rudra yoga is being

used during that time. But, i do not have any subsceptability for

blood-pressure diseases as no planets occupy the 3rd kauluka hence this was

not a permanent issue.

However, my father has had problems with low-blood pressure.

Sixth lord Mercury is joined eighth lord Sun and Venus in the badhaka

sthana. Here Venus is placed in the third kauluka and thus forming the blood

pressure problems. Primary affliction is by Rasi dristi and is not severe

showing an inborn weakness for the problem.

Here Mercury, Mars and Venus are all placed in the third kauluka. Among

these Mercury is placed in the sixth house and is badhakesh. Mars is placed

in badhaka sthana itself, whilst Venus is eighth lord and joined sixth lord.

All three are capable of giving blood related problems, and he does suffer

quite severely from this.

Both cases have a Rudra Yoga forming, but i must stress that this isn't the

main source of the problem.

As for your leaving jyotish, i will not like to predict inauspicious things,

as leaving jyotish is like leaving the vedas, being that it is an anga of

the vedas.. I wish you the best of luck with your continued studies.

Yes I agree with your analysis but I wonder how can two Jaltattvas cause

Blood Pressure?? Moon is karaka for forth house , even though he rules blood

, I dont think venus and moon combination people will have HBP as I have

that combination.

My friend has Mars and Venus in fourth so his probablity cannot be ruledout.

You are back? I thought you left.

Mars and Venus are the natural lords of the 2nd and 8th houses, and when

they join the Moon they form Rudra Yoga. During a Shoola dasa associated

with the rudra yoga, they can give high blood pressure, because of increased

pressure on the body during that period.

However, blood pressure diseases are caused by planets placed in the third

kauluka, which is 10-15 degrees of any sign. If planets posited therein are

disease causing planets, then surely the blood pressure problems will

result.

Hora Sashtra (BPHS, Chapter 3 Sloka 31), Chandra rules blood (rakta dhatu)

whereas Mangal rules marrow (majja dhatu) in the body. Chandras affliction

with Mangal (especially for people with Chandra-mangal yoga) causes high

blood pressure. Chandra also rules heart and its affliction can cause heart

diseases and consequently fluctuating blood pressure too. Rahu's affliction

can cause blood cancer etc. (Rahu rules unwanted/unrestrained growth ) etc.

In this way afflictions need to be understood. Graha-drishti can cause

temporary high especially if dasa is supporting.
