Guest guest
Dear Members, I read in some posts that higher SAV points means the Dasha period would be good. Supposing someone is going thru a dasha period and SAV points for that is 27 and the next dasha period SAV points is 25. Does that mean the next dasha period won't be that good. Please Explain Thanks Gulabo ------------------------ Sponsor --------------------~--> Protect your PC from spy ware with award winning anti spy technology. Guest guest
Gulabo, SAV matters BUT not sole responsible of dasa phalam. So produce a holistic approach when sketch a probable outline of dasa results. Hence it is not *necessary* that a graha in rashi of smart SAV gives beneficial result and vise versa. Strength of AV, SAV etc. suggest how a specific planet is supported or rejected by seven planets and lagna. In other words, positional sense of acceptability to/from others. Hence a planet having other's approval has greater chances of doing well. On the other hand, strength (of shadbala etc.) of any graha shows soul maturity. I would request to approach any good commentary of Laghu Parasari in order to get insights on vimshottari dasa. Though ashtakvarga is not its topic. Regards, M. Guest guest
Dear member Dasha phal is always read with the strength of planet, its association (mutual as well), its placement and transit. If the above are to be observed for determining dasha phal, then how can SAV, not have any influence in its reading. SAV will have some interpretation bearning on the dasha phala. Interestingly, many astrologers assume dasha nath positioned house as lagna and see the relative positioning and then evaluate the dasha phal. Dasha is always read with antar dasha, and if so- their mutual position (e.g. 6/8, 2/12, 3/11, 1/7, 5/9 etc) will have effect on anticpated results from antar dasha. and if this is true, then relative positioning is the key..and if so - logically, SAV (ashtakvarga) have a balanced and logical way to assess the relative positioning. Did one observe that the antar dasha and dasha nath always have some relationship (in transit or over mutual natal positions etc), at the commencement of such dasha. This is often used to rectify the chart as well. Members may share their experience on this possibility. In astrology, we look at mulitple factors and identify the candidate for an event / trend etc. Any technique helping in logical assessment of any of such multiple factor has relevance in interpretation. It is up to an astrologer to choose, the technique for such an assessment (as different astrologers may choose different techniques). BTW, there is forum on ashtakvaraga technique (along with very good lessons / tips) and members may find it very useful. the url is / regards / Prafulla vedic astrology, "M.
