Each time, you will feel fresh-like-a-flower. Also please keep a watch. If you eat Satvik food (more and more of fruits and salads without dressings and less and less of cooked food and drinking plenty of water, i.e. enough to produce about two litres of urine in 24 hours, and continue to enjoy these exercises by doing them with a view to "enjoy" and not thinking them to be 'exercises', you should be much healthier than ever before, enjoying total health and wellness without having to fall sick ordinarily unless it be a case of massive outside infection. Slowly, this enjoyment will develop into meditation leading to a sense of something like "self-realization". This has been the experience of quite a few persons. Whenever you get up after sleep or after lying down for some length of time, please always do these exercises for 3 to five minutes, then stretch your legs slowly and comfortably. When fully stretched, take a deep breath, hold it for a second or two and then exhale from the mouth as we automatically do after sitting idle for some time, exhaling from the mouth to freshen up. Then turn sideways and get up, stand erect, put the hands behind the neck, press the hands slightly to straighten the neck, lift the heels for moment before you start walking away. This can also br repeated each time you feel tired or out of your mind. It will pick up the mood. Hence, I had coined a good health slogan for the new millennium as follows: "Three minutes a day, keeps the doctor away (nay keeps the disease away)"; And, whenever tired, just do it for a few minutes to come out "fresh like a flower" each time, at any time of the day or night. Five minutes of these exercises done as an enjoyment make you feel so fresh as if you had slept nicely for five hours. If you are not getting sleep say, you wake up in the middle of the night not getting sleep again, then also start doing these exercises enjoying each step a little longer, you will never know when you have fallen asleep again. So there will be no need to take the sleeping pills as some people do. Your feedback encouraged me to open my heart to you. In future, please keep a watch on your health as these exercises are going to give you inumerable other health benefits, a few being: One senior nurse in a big hospital was having difficult or rahter painful monthly periods. She was just prescribed these exercises out of curiosity as her radiologist husband working in a well-known hospital where I used to do free backache cure camps every week had become friendly with me. After a few weeks, her husband wrote to me that her periods were normalized. Another senior lady doctor, a gynaecologist at the Army's Command Hospital, Pune came complaining severe backache inspite of all allopathic treatment. When she was prescribed these exercises, she reported that she could cure herself of her backache but also that she had become free of her frequent splitting headaches of migraine type. Many ladies who were suffering acute back pain for years (one for 40 years, another for 10 years and yet another for 3 years) after delivery inspite of all allopathic treatments also cured themselves of their back pain within the shortest possible time, nay all three of them reporting pain free just after doing the demo for 5 to 7 minutes flat, in the presence of hundreds of other spectators who too could learn that if they too did the same, they would also cure themselves. When I was in the US last year, one friend hadgiven me an article by Holy Mother of Pondicherry which has dwelt upon instinctive movements of various species that keep them relaxed and ready to take off at the slightest signal. Should we say, that God had given such instinctive movements to human beings also to keep fresh and healthy. But when we became "too" modern, that changed our lifestyle, we lost those instinctive habits creating a plethora of diseases. So, dear friend, do tell me when ever you notice such side benefits as compared to the "horrible" adverse side-effects of most allopathic drugs and medicines. To top up this treatise, please do go on enjoying till the very end in place of the back, etc pain that we suffer so often because these exercises convert the pain into long-lasting pleasure and enjoyment.
