In the 70's I had a parasite infection after staying by one of Australia's largest rivers, they came to view excreta samples from Melbourne University as it was a bad case and while they were there they described some appalling cases of other things they had seen, a bit comparable to these articles, my then GP treated me with a Quinine derivative even though she was also a homeopath, as I was pregnant at the time, and "didn't want to take any risks" I just wondered how the Ayurvedist would treat these symptoms .....
