Manoj,

Ever since I started going up for darshan with my Brazillian fiance, Amma has been speaking to us in Portuguese! I'm going to be ready this time, though, because I've been learning portuguese all winter! Knowing Amma, she'll probably start in with some other language this time!

  Jai Ma, Viva Mae!

  Surya,

I am never so upclose to Amma that she tells me anything of value

regarding the program et al; the only time she talks to me directly

is when I go for darshan. and that too she talks to me in Tamil even

though Geeta or the other lap-seva coordinators tell her I am

malayalee! Here is the best part - I respond in malayalam because I

dont speak Tamil although I understand it somewhat! she speaks to my

wife in malayalam though. leelas!

I heard the below from a Michigan tour seva coordinator (name not

important) who told me Amma wants people to have the darshan of Guru

during BrahmaMuhurta time (the best sattvic time of the day for any

sadhana) and sustain the energy, that is very efficacious for mantra

chanting or seva etc.

This is my input: Even "plain" darshan (meaning sight of the guru)

in that time can be of more value FOR US at that time than at other

times.

It may be the surgeon's kind, cruel cut that Amma is playing out

with this. seemingly cruel but infintely kind in helping us ground

ourselves better and faster in our sadhana.

I don't think it's a rumor; the lady is built of better character

than spreading rumors.

Jai Ma!
