Pujyasri Jagadguru Sri Jayendra Sarasvti Swamigal inaugurated the Indu

T.V channel in Chennai on 18th May 2006. In the function held for the

purpose in Sankaralaya, Chennai Swamigal dealt with in detail about the

Hindu dharma, our national ancient culture and the need to preserve

them. Swamigal emphasized the need for active participation of the

Hindus in such efforts.

 

 

 

Swamigal pointed out that some people are under the mistaken impression

that Hinduism is other-worldly. The Vedic way of life is in fact

particular about living a proper life in this world. It insists upon

systematic evolution and development of all living beings.

 

 

 

Secondly the divisions in Hindu society were formed only for division of

function among the members of the society. The Periya Puranam is the

fundamental work that highlights the true principles of Hinduism. From

Andhanar to Nandhanar, all have attained the grace of Siva Peruman.

There are statues for all of them in the temple and all the devotees

worship all of them without any difference. This shows the common bond

of Hinduism is not to bel curtailed by the artificial divisions.

brought out under the auspices of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. Nitya

Kalyan is dedicated to spread knowledge on our Vedic Heritage,

Devotional Literature, True Values of Life and Principles of Self

universal vedic religion and can understand it better in English.
