Thank you Mahanidhi Prabhu. This is the best point so far I heard, concerning

Srila Prabhupada's instructions, relating to gurukula abuse case.

No kidding. There is an old earth culture custom, pre dating

psychiatry, which may be appropriate to discuss here as we approach

Govardhana puja aka go puja, the worship of the earth.

Go out into a remote place and find or dig a hole in the ground, at

least big enough to fit your head in. Then, laying on the ground, with

out restraint, scream, yell, curse, all your frustrations and anger

as loud and as long as you can.

The earth is your mother, and she is very absorbing and forgiving.

Much more so then the participants of this conference, so she can

absorb all that pent up stuff that so obviously needs to be vented.

Also, no need to worry about being quoted out of context.

It works, believe it or not.

Lord Krsna also did not distinguish His real mother from His

stepmothers, and He equally offered His obeisances unto all the wives of

Vasudeva present on the occasion. According to scriptures also, there

are seven mothers: (1) the real mother, (2) the wife of the spiritual

master, (3) the wife of a brahmana, (4) the wife of the king, (5) the

cow, (6) the nurse, and (7) the earth. All of them are mothers. Even by

this injunction of the sastras, the stepmother, who is the wife of the

father, is also as good as the mother because the father is also one of

the spiritual masters. Lord Krsna, the Lord of the universe, plays the

part of an ideal son just to teach others how to treat their

stepmothers.
