In his books Srila Prabhupada always put the emphasis in the

Kanistha-adhikari elevating himself to the platform of madhyama-adhikari.

The elevation from madhyama to uttama is not at all stressed anywhere.

Rather, what is stressed is that if one is uttama-adhikari, he should

descend to the madhyama platform to preach. Preaching is the essence.
