The bala and vriddha are but two of the avasthas. There are also the

deeptha, swastha, santha, muditha, sakta, peedya, bheeta, marana,

vikala and deena avasthas.

 

Venus' effects are somewhat tarnished by its conjunction with Rahu,

although Venus is Rahu's guru, but not necessarily by it being where

it is in the zodiac. In fact, it's very comfortable in watery Pisces;

fiery Aries is wholly different territory, however.
