Om Amriteswarye Namah:

I listed half a dozen Hindu Calenders earlier citing

July 11.  The Ramakrishna Order and Amma's official

calender (I double checked with a higher up) stand by

July 11.

With all respect to Vedic Astrology Amma is the one

who manipulates the stars and the moons.  Try not to

forget this.

As to it being July 9 in Iowa that would appear a bit

impractical.

Amma would have to squeeze it in between the last Iowa

daytime Public Program and the beginning of the Atma

Puja eg Devi Bhava.

Two pujas in a row?

Since the Devi Bhava goes on until the wee hours of

July 10 then Amma would need to change back into her

White's and go through a long program amidst exhausted

devotees in the Iowa mid-summer heat.

This is not unthinkable because tapas is never out of

vogue in the Amritanandamayi Order.

My bet is still on Washington, D.C. because it works

for "practical purposes"  Amma alone truly knows if

and when it occurs.  She may pass on it altogether.

This pretentious Son has only prayer as a modality.

Namah Shivaya,

GeorgeSon
