Guest guest
Hi I am hoping someone may be able to help me understand what is happening to me .I have been slowly losing the use of my legs since giving birth on the 11/10/05. Unexplained nuerological condition for which the cause is not showing up any scans or tests. I am only just still able to walk with a cane. I am also experiencing marital problems, loss of work and financial difficulties the whole family is in turmoil, everything seems to be at boiling point, extreme stress and pressure on every level of my life.I feel so stuck. Cant move on any level. Can anyone please tell me how it is playing out astrologiclly for me. How long will it all last? Is this nerve damage reversable or life threatening? What of my marraige? Is this fixed karma/dharma.No one seems to be able to help me. I am not able to access a vedic astrologer at present and would very much appreciate it if anyone could look to see what is happening. My details are as follows: Name:Lisa Young Corkill(Dyvia Puja) Sex:Female Date of Birth: 17th of April 1965 Time of birth:4.45pm Place of birth: Grafton ,New South Wales , Australia I thank you with all my heart if you can help enlighten me at this very dark period of my life. light and peace Dyvia Puja
Guest guest
Dear Dyvia Puja, Your case interests me and I thought I'd add my own input to what others may have said. Health Analysis: -Virgo rising: Here's the sign of health as your lagna and it can mean life-long devotion to establish health on all levels—mental, emotional, spiritual. -Mercury is 1L of Virgo and yours is debilitated (weak) in Pisces. A weak lagna lord can place the general health at risk during malefic transits and it looks as though this is exactly what happened in November. (I'll go into transit influences momentarily). In the meantime, it would be *very* helpful if you would take measures to strengthen your Mercury. Mercury is your 7L of marriage, and this planet when weak can indicate an exhausted nervous system, poor communication skills, or the challenge of completing certain processes of logic and accomplishing them in a timely manner. (Like when you put off doing things that are in your own best interest or health because you may place others first all the time.) If your Venus and 2H of wearing gems was a little stronger, I'd suggest you wear a green Emerald, but you might try one anyway if you ever have the chance. In the meantime, you can start helping your health by bringing more healthy green in your apparel or surroundings--anything that helps rebuild and support your frazzled nervous system. B-vitamins are also related to nerve health, or doing such things as surrounding yourself with lush green plants, maybe even something highly exotic or tropical in nature. On strengthening Mercury: "Mercury likes light neutral shades, especially greens and blues, although earth-tones are good as well...Good herbs are Passion Flower, Chamomile, Mint, Sage and especially Basil. Oils and aromas for Mercury include Mint, Wintergreen, Eucalyptus, Cedar, Thyme and Sage, for these clear and open the mind. Sandalwood oil is effective in calming the mind...Mercury's energy is increased by spiritual teachings emphasizing reason, discrimination, clear expression and objective perception. Reading, studying, writing and thinking are supportive activities. Philosophical studies are particularly good, as are courses and seminars. The person should cultivate awareness of the world and strive to increase communicative powers. Yet, it is vital to take time out for rest and relaxation, especially when feeling stressed." (Reimer) Transit Influences: Even as far back as July of 2005, you were under adverse health transits. Stress-producing Rahu was adversely transiting the 7H of marriage and aspecting your 1L Mercury of the general health and nervous system. Domestic tension was brewing as Jupiter as 4L of the home and family life was beginning to transit your lagna. Jupiter rules the 7H of the partner and all manner of relationship issues for Virgo. Because Ketu transits are always opposite Rahu, Ketu was beginning to cross the degree of your lagna and show a possible separation from your partner, exhaustion from the pregnancy, or there was something stressing the home life on the surface or as a background influence even though you were pregnant at the time. I mention this period as a reality check to show how far back these stressful relationship and health conditions may have been existing in your life (if your birth-time is correct). It looks like for months. -At the time your baby was born in November, transiting Ketu was still stressing your health and transiting Rahu was stressing your marriage--a full four months after these transits started. Compounding the stress is that your natal Mercury in Pisces is exactly opposite the degree of your lagna, and transiting Rahu was in close aspect to that simultaneously. Taken all together, these transits can indicate a serious threat to the general or particular health. The good news is that these troublesome transits of Rahu and Ketu finally came to a close in January of this year, but not without leaving a problem with the nerves in the legs, with adverse help from transiting Saturn in the 11H of the legs. As a follow-up to February, what happened is that transiting Jupiter as 4L of the domestic life came under the trinal aspect of troublesome Ketu, and that influence continues into August of this year and shows unresolved domestic conflicts still to be worked out. Transiting Jupiter as 8L on your natal Moon is another indication of problems with the home-life, husband or finances. So some of these problems may have existed for a very long time before finally coming out into the open, and the stress from all this can make one's body subject to injury or exhaustion. But all is not hopeless, of course, and strengthening Mercury as your Lagna lord would be a very, very good place to start. The Nerves and the Current Problem -Mercury is related to the general functioning of the nervous system, and Saturn is too, except Saturn seems to have a particular affinity for the nerves in the legs, as it rules Capricorn and Aquarius, representing the legs and ankles. Since *November* of last year, transiting Rahu in Pisces has been afflicting transiting Saturn in Cancer. Saturn, again, represents the nerves in the legs, situations of possible paralysis, and Rahu can represent obstructions, stress and tension. *This transit to transit aspect will come to a close by the end of May* of this year and indicates a slow improvement in your nervous system. Saturn, in particular, can indicate a pinched nerve, and since transiting Saturn is in the 11H of the leg area, the numbing could have possibly been affecting you all the way down to the lower leg. -The other primary transit you have to deal with is from Saturn as 6L of ill-health and nerve health aspecting the degree of your lagna, going into September. But after that, I see a lightening up of the astrological indicators for numbness related to the nerves in the legs. The challenge is to get yourself out of pain before then by making some vital decisions about your home life, getting physical adjustments, nutritional help, or whatever. If the problem is primarily financial and temporary, that's one thing; but if the problem between you and your husband is one of basic compatibility or lack of respect toward each other, you may be faced with having to make a hard decision. You have the chart of a very sacrificing spiritual devotee, but if all of your spiritual progress is being made at the expense of your body and health, then please question this and find a more grounded way of living based upon reality and not just spiritual precepts. By strengthening your Mercury, you strengthen your sense of self and not necessarily in a selfish or self-centered way, but simply in a healthy way of self-acknowledgment and self-acceptance. This will do wonders for you, and I feel your husband will respect you more and take your needs into greater account, for there's only so much that one person can sacrifice for another, and you may have already gone beyond that point, at least temporarily. Once you decide that your sense of well-being matters too, you can make progress in your health by leaps and bounds and get yourself out of the emotional as well as the physical pain. Best wishes.
