though there is a competitive urge to do better than one another in all

spheres of life here in astrology this is not posible as Pt arjun has said

Vidya vinaya sampane, on ehas to hmble with all his knowledge. for it to work

to potential

 

also I have warned not only about Pramods's but even abishek Bachhan's chart

on the 4casts by memebers pl do it with a footone it is for entertainment not

knowledge as all politicians and celebrieties do have a few birth details

floating around, so by risking our skills on such FLIMSY data, we will bring

bad name to the divince science.unless the source is from family or the horses'

mouth dont give serious predictions on such stars.

If the birth data is not accurate or is perceived as inaccurate, it

is better to rely on Prashna rather than attempt to "reinvent

" the birth data by birthtime rectifications methods and then get

into a quagmire.....

 

This is amply proved by Shri. Mohanraaamji's successful prediction

about Shri. Mahajan's fate......His post 74114 was candid....Though

he had elaborated some points for both possiblities for educative

purposes of other learners in the forum, the very topic of his post

was indicative of what he "really" felt about the fate of

Mahajan...."No Hope" was the title! It is a lesson on how an

astrologer should predict negative events....Give a hint without

using adverse words per se......This is why I wanted Shri.

Mohanraaamji back in the forum....The way he had addressed his posts

will be a lesson to every aspiring astrologer as to how to approach a

situation using the correct technique, how to break a hopeless

indication diplomatically, and on how to read a prashna chart. To

delineate successfully from the prashna chart erected by another

astrologer, and to differ from his predictions diplomatically is not

an easy thing....This is what exactly mohanraaamji had done...He had

based his prediction based on Shri. Satyanarayana Gupata's prashna

chart and post! May his tribe increase. May God give more longevity

to that elderly gentleman so that he will be Blessing to all of us.

If it not had been a sad event, I would have rather congratulated

Shri.Mohanraaamji on his successful prediction...but, in this

occasion, it would not be appropriate....

Dear friend,

 

Since we are communicating here in this internet forum, we are

obviously not 'renunciates' and have a computer, necessary software,

connection to the internet, whether through personal accounts or

paying the required sum (some say RANSOM) to internet cafes and so on.

 

In other words we are worldly beings and as we all know, the

philosophy of TAO has not really influenced or has worked in worldly

reality. So until such time when we reach the state of satchidananda

or just ananda, we worldly minions must remain worldly and

materialistic and competitive!

 

Despite our worldly perspective, and so on, we are blessed to hear

snippets of spiritual truths through our friends -- some of whom are

not entirely worldly but almost ready for moving over to the other

reality. It is almost like being a prisoner and hearing a Vipassana

seminar or participating in a program like that.

 

While we continue to remain competitive and only because we are not

sure we are ready to hop on that bus that takes us to the ashram in

the Himalayas (or equivalent) let us just be receptive and witness

the human and spiritual sharing that goes on around in forums/fora

like this and others!

 

No personal offence intended, hopefully none will be taken!

dear dakshinamoorthi ji

 

besides what you have written, i personally appreciate shri

mohanraam ji for clearly stating the golden rule (as advised by you

to him) in prashna shastra that a prashna chart shall be casted ONLY

if the querent or his relatives ask the astrologer asks. just to

cast a prashna chart on any person to predict anything without being

asked, is just to show the prowess or testing the skills. any

astrologer will perfect this technique only by experience which

takes a minimum of twenty years for most.

 

there are so many queries coming these days in the groups asking for

reading of a chart who is a "friend" or "known person" and before

answering such queries, the astrologer shall be sure whether the

querent has any vested interests. as tatvam ji once written, only

prashna technique has this ability to know the "intent" of the

querent. as sreenadh ji put in another note, a person who mastered

prashna technique is able to know the query of the querent also.

truly prashna technique is great in its own way.
