dear friends

 

the over enthusiasm shown by few members in criticising astrology as

a failure to predict one individual's death is unwarranted and is

like earning bad karma in criticising a holy divine subject.

 

the sages and saints were oft referred as 'trikaala jnanis' meaning

they are aware of the past, present and future not through astrology

alone but through their divya drishti or clairvoyance which they

developed through japam and tapam. in many instances, a sage just

closes the eyes and finds out why the native has approached him or

what is the suffering of the native and also the reason as well as

remedy.

 

there is a code of conduct taught by the gurus in the old gurukul

system that AN ASTROLOGER SHALL PREDICT A CHART ONLY IF THE NATIVE

APPROACHES AND ASK THE ASTROLOGER. astrology is never used to

predict any tom, dick and harry' chart unsolicited and then claim "i

said so". if an astrologer is more interested in showing his

prowess of predictions, chances are that he may get a big hand for

99 accurate predictions and if one prediction goes wrong, the entire

world ignores all these 99 accurate predictions and brand him as a

failure.

 

the holy noble astrologer is always respected as "vidya vinaya

sampann" where emphasis may be laid on "vinay".

 

my experience taught me that if a person pursues astrology as a

divine holy subject with respect and reverence, he would be blessed

to learn it more and can make accurate predictions. but if the same

divine subject is treated as a pre-programmed vending machine type

scientific tool and everything is splashed at the click of the

mouse, then it is as good as the stock market analysts(astrologers)

who give two support levels and two resistance levels for each scrip

unable to predict even the direction of the scrip as positive or

negative.

 

hence i humbly request the fraternity not to criticise the divine

subject astrology in general and those astrologers who predicted

rosy picture for pramod mahajan in particular.

Dear pandit arjuna,

I completely agree with you wut u have said...for some predictions

made by eminent astrologers(or by infamous astrologers), the Future

of this Divine subject is questioned quite often & this hurts

me..specially when I find people who come in the TV & give

predictions without having a proper knowledge of this Holy Subject...

Take for an example...Mr.Bejan Daruwala said that India will in

certian cricket tournament, but just the opposite happened, India

was unable to make her to way to the finals...& these cases often

turns believers to be atheist....which really hurts me..

Its true that i not 100% or 80% of my predictions click....I need to

learn more n more & evrybody come up with new charts, which tend me

learn more n more.

In one of the classics I find the characteristics of an Astrologer,

it says:-

Horasastro-samudra-paargamane nuunam samartho mahaan|

paataakhye ganite cha vijaganite yo darbhagarbhaagradhiH||

siddhaanta-sfutavaasanaa prakathane bhedairanekaiyute|

gole syat kushalaH sa eva ganako yogyah falaadeshakaH||

meaning--He is the real Astrologer,who has crossed the "ocean of

Astrology",through timing of good & bad events are done,who has

studied tri-skandha jyotish,who has sharp knowledge of Arithmetic &

Algebra,who is expert to calculate sfutas or various longitudes for

predictions,who is an expert in geography, & who is expert in

predicting events & results beforehand.

Our sages were "trikala jnanis" & they had "divya drishti" thru

which they were able to see what is going to happen.I believe that

as the sages have passed on their knowledge through various

treatises & much of them have lost (might due to plunder or

invasions from time 2 time) & we need to regain those through our on

merit....praying to "Trikala Jnani" ShivaShambhu can help in

achieving this....
