Guest guest Posted May 3, 2006 Report Share Posted May 3, 2006 The Predictions made in this Group are becoming more and more inaccurate.Pramod Mahajan's case is just one of the many predictions which have gone wrong and the excuse would be to blame on the time of birth.Which i may say was right with a 200% surity. Also predictions made by leading gurus are going wrong.The case of Sachin Tendulkar is the biggest example.If you go and take a look at some ebook which has some parts on Sachin Tendulkar say that he his going to have a glorious time in the current year, which as you can see has been the opposite.There was also a mention of this in one of the posts in October last year. Unless astrologers as a community become more vigilant in confirming someone's actual birth data before making their predictions, this embarrassing trend of woeful predictions will continue. In the case of Pramod Mahajan, I have seen the birth year given as 1948 or 1949 and there has also been conjecture about even his time of birth. But yet predictions are seemingly made off the top of one's head without ever verifying or questioning the birth information based upon past events in the person's life. Furthermore, in the case of political figures who understand the power of astrology to influence public opinion, some of them deliberately give out false birth details in order to throw astrologers off the track, and yet this point seems to be rarely taken into account by even some of the most experienced astrologers, and they appear to be fooled time and time again. This is a careless trend that need not continue if the astrologer refuses to accept anyone's birth date at face value or take it for granted before making public predictions. Just my two-cents worth. That problem was addressed in the USA by the late Lois Rodden, who made it her cause to make sure that birth days and times were accurate and established standards of what a good birth time is. She single-handily changed the way astrologers treat that data, and her database is considered singularly accurate. It is even now updated by those who find better information in the astrological community. Rodden either hunted down birth certificates or sent others to find them. She interviewed people, and used all other forms of investigatory means to ascertain proper times. I noticed, for example, on this list a while back a discussion about Oprah Winfrey where the entire discussion was based on a wrong birth time, hours off, not just minutes. An effort to put a worldwide database of accurate times, times that have been tracked down and verified, is not impossible in this electronic age.
