Anil: Parashar united at that time as he knew importance of that

momement.

Only an astrological genius can calculate it that accurately. No

wonder,

the child was great expert and Chirangeevee. Afterall what is the best

application of Jyotish? To get a child whose chart ensures very-very

long

life with all sorts of knowlege and who is incarnation of GOD too!

 

"However, in the complete BPHS, we see an inevitable biasedness

towards Sri Hari and Parasara's attempt to boil down astrology to

Vishnu forms."

 

Anil: Parashar was very great Vishnu-Bhakt but I do not see it except

in Chapter 2. If you read remedies for bad Dasha/Ashtakvarg you will

see

that Vishnu appears only for Budh.

 

"Parasara couldn't have known about Sri Krishna if he wrote Hora

shastra before the 4th. generation from him."

 

Anil: You are wrong. He was Vyas in earlier(26th) Dwaper Yug.

So his knowledge and longivity are very high. All Vyas are

chirangeevee.

People having longivity upto end of kalp reside in Maharlok(above

Swarg).

 

"Gautam Buddha was not born when Parasara was alive!

This could have been amended when Vishnu Purana was amended in later

years."

 

Anil: Sage Valmiki also wrote Ramayan long before it actually

happened.

He was not an educated person like sage Parashar but due to his

dedicated recital of Ram-Nam in reverse order,he got siddhi and

became sage who wrote first ever epic in the history of mankind.

 

Sage Parashar was born in the family of great Rishi like Vashisth.

He was well educated and was well respected even by great Rishis

at an age of mere 7 years! It was certainly a kids-play for him

to see future. He was a trikal-gyani. No wonder he knew about the

incarnation of God long before its occurance.

 

"The Imperceptible part of the Lord is endowed with dual powers, while

the Perceptible with triple powers."

 

Anil: Experts like Jagad-guru Kripaluji Maharaj say that God has

different

names based on functions.I will state 3 forms.

 

First: Param-Brahm(not lord Brahma) is nirgun nirakar. HE exist even

before

and after creation. HE has all powers but they remain unmenifested.

 

Second: Prakriti appeared as a result of Param-Brahm's desire 'Ekoham

Bahusyam' and Parm-atma remains present every where in the form of

Atma

to witness various actvities of Prakriti. HE has all powers but HE is

still Nirgun, Nirakar. HIS two powers are omnipresent and Sakshi.

 

Third: Bhagwan is Sagun-Sakar form. HE can take any form and show any

quality. HE is normally refered by people with several names. All

powers are fully menifested in HIM.This form has a combination of GOD

with Prakriti while above ones are pure.

 

First and Second are imperceptible while third is perceptible.

Since first two do not have prakriti,they are immortal while third one

has to go when Prakriti vanishes in Parm-Brahm.

 

As you might be knowing,Mahat-Tatwa is created by Prakriti which

then produced Ahamkar and from Ahamkar,Panch tatwa,Indriyas,Mana and

Deities were created.Dark matter/energy may be related to Mahat-Tatwa

at most(personally I do not agree) but it can not be beyond that. How

can imperceptible things beyond Prakriti be known by means in

prakriti?

 

"Buddha episode is a very improper documentation-to say that Sri Hari

took

an incarnation to take Asuras away from the marg of Dharma and

assigning it

to Buddha could NEVER been the words of Maharshis."

 

Anil: Avtars occure to establish Yug-Dharm. What HE did in Vaman-

Avatar?

Bali was extreamly religious still HE cheated him and that was just

the

beginning of Treta-Yug and Dharm was still full.If Bali had

refused,his

Dharma would have lost. He accepted to loose everything but retained

Dharm.

In Kali-Yug this was not the case. Several Asuras killed in

Mahabharat war

were born as kings. As they were not killed by God,they were not

libarated.

Buddha successfully stopped Yagyas and stopped their growth.

 

Arambh(starting) Sandhi of each Yug is for establishing new rules

that will be practised mostly during that Yug. During Viram(ending)

Sandhi,

most of the achievements etc. reach their height and due to excess of

them,

they are destroyed to mark the end of that Yug. eg. Kaliyug will take

36000 years to establish(Dharm will reduce from 50% to 25%)

then for 360000 years,it will remain stable and in last 36000 years,

excess of Kaliyug will reduce Dharm to almost zero. At this time,due

to Kalki Avtar or some war/natural disaster etc. Sinful people will be

destroyed and at the end of Kaliyug again 25% Dharm is restored. After

this Satyug's Sandhi(transition) period will take Dharm from 25% to

100%.

 

Just imagine if Dwaper technology is available to people in Kaliyug,

terrorists will convert an ordinary arrow into Brahmastr and destroy

the universe. To avoid this,Shree Krishn ensured that all such kings

including HIS own family members are fully destroyed before Kaliyug

begins.

 

All acts of God are to maintain Yug-Dharm.

HE considers entire universe not just earth for deciding HIS actions.

 

"why would any author write more than one book on a factual matter?"

 

Anil: Parashar wrote different books on different matters. For a

common

man,Science means all aspects of the subject but for a learned

one,physics

and chemistry are two completely different subjects.

 

" if I had to assume that Veda Vyasa did write all the 18

Puranas then how come that the story of creation (even birth of

Gods) are contradictory?"

 

Anil: If you read original Puranas carefully, you will know that

different

Puranas give stories from different Kalp. Different Kalp start on

different

Tithis. Now you know that if creation charts of Kalp are

different,things

will happen at different times. It is similar to the fact that

marriage

of different persons born at different time are celebrated at

different time. Education,job,marriage etc. are events in human life

and

occure in most charts but at different times.These are not daily

events.

Every day we have more or less same routine. Mostly similar events

occure in every Kalp but at different times. When we sleep,our regular

day-time activities end.Similarly when Lord Brahma sleeps,His activity

(creation of world) ends.The routine then continues from next day with

or without minor variations.

 

" What was the requirement of so many versions of just one

fundamental truth? why did Vyasa forget to mention such an important

event in any of

the other Puranas?"

 

Anil: As I wrote above,these are stories of different Kalp(day of

lord Brahma).If you read them carefully,you will see that each of

them gives

some additional details on things which may not be available in other

Puranas. In fact there is only one Puran which has 1 billion verses!

Since in Kaliyug,no one can remember/read such volume,he gave essence

in 400,000 verses divided in several puranas for better learning.

These stories may have several meanings. A doctor may find names of

herbs

for treatment of diseases while same verse may give calculation of

some

Dasha to an astrologer but we have no keys to confirm this points.

Even the count of verses are not matching. Due to huge size of hand

written books,they were stored in parts and were divided like property

among sons.So some parts are either lost or they are still hidden with

someone. What you think important,is a non-significant event when we

consider that 1 Kalp means 4.32 billion year and several such Kalpas

are

covered in Puranas.Since Vyasji wrote Puranas at the end of Dwapar,he

kindly gave some events in Bhavishya-Puran.

 

"The astral conditions mentioned in Srimad Bhagvatam for the advent

of Kalki will come to pass on 27th. July 2014 AD"

 

Anil: You are giving your views. Can you give what astral conditions

are satisfied? Kalki Avtar will occure at the end of Kaliyug when 821

years will be left. We are just in 5107 th year.

 

Again all 10 Avtars of lord Vishnu will not occure in every cycle of

chaturyug. SreeRam avtar occured in 24th Treta while SreeKrishn avtar

occured in 28th Dwapar.So there may be a diference in

Yug/Manvantar/Kalp.

 

Birth-date,time,place,parents and many information of Kalki avtar are

given

in Puranas but we have no software that can make HIS chart. So Forget

about such long term predictions. It is only possible for sages.

 

"why Vishnu avatars like Narasimha and Varah represented

by malefic planets should be considered to be 100 per cent

Paramatmansha avatars. Entirely Paramatmaansha avatars of Rama and

Krishna represented by the luminaries is more understandable!"

 

Anil: Narasimha and Varah also appeared for killing His cursed door-

keepers

Jay and Vijay. Since they were at gates of Vaikunth,they were already

above

all residents of various lokas below Vaikunth. In fact they were very

close

to union with God. For this reason,it was not possible for any lesser

avtar

to kill them.While He killed both in Ram and Krishn avtars,He needded

two

separate avtars to kill them because of special boons received by

them.

 

Visti: "Puranas were written down by the son of Vyasa"

 

Anil: what is the basis for this statement? What was the name of that

son?

 

"Whereas in Western Astrology, certain point are given quite some

importance apart from just Ascendant (Lagna) like Descendant,

Midheaven etc., Indian methods prescibes a lot of important to

Eastern Horizon. Any views why?"

 

Anil: Classics ask us to see vargas of Bhav-cusp counted not only

from

Lagn but also from planets.So our canvass is much bigger. It is a

differet

matter how we are using it due to personal bias/lack of knowledge.

"Udayadishu bhaveshu khetasya bhavnneshu va"

Here the term Udayadishu can indicate all Lagnas including special

ones.

Some examples are AL,UL,BL,HL,GL,PPL,VL,SL,Gulik Lagn etc.

 

The imortance give to Lagn is just to avoid multiplication.we are told

to see other houses exactly in similar way so what is true for lagn,is

also true for any house from any reference when that is taken as lagn

for

the purpose of analysis. Several Rashi Dashas can be used with

advantage

from relevent house/karak as lagn.

 

"Effects of Sub-Grahas. If one of these afflicts Sûrya, the

native's dynasty will decline, while Candr and Lagn, respectively,

associated with one of these, will destroy the longevity and wisdom.

So declared Lord Brahma, the Lotus-Born"

 

Anil: You need to check in relevent varg. D16 and D60 are most

important.

If relevent vargas are not afflicted by Dhoom etc.,they will not give

much problem. A planet in Kendra to Dhoom gives good results in its

Dasha.

 

"Do these charts require correction or is it that by bhava Parasara

was referring to something else not houses.

PP in various houses in described in Chapter 25 of BPHS."

 

Anil: Pran-pad shows life-force. In good houses it gives life to good

things.However when other planets also join,situation changes

accordingly.

Vargas will show relevent details based on PP.These things apply to

all

sub-grahas etc.

 

Pran-Pad is a special Lagn.

bhav L = 2 hours = sign/1

hora L = 1 hours = sign/2

Ghati L = 24 min. = sign/5

PP Lagn = 6 min. = sign/20

(1 sign takes 120 min. on average)

 

You can see that BL,HL,GL correspond to 1,2,5 house matters.

Extending it to PPL, 20 will give 8th house(life = Pran!).

>From this it is very clear that PPL shows life-force.

Use of PP Lagn may be explored on this basis.

 

Kal(time) is strongest so division based on time indicates

strength/force.

These are divisions of time and not space.

 

There are 2 view about calculation of PPL.

Say A(in degrees) = Isht(in minutes)*5 + Sun(in degrees)

(1) PPL = A + 360/240/120 if Sun is in Char/Sthir/Dwiswabhav Rashi

(2) PPL = A + 360/240/120 if Lagn is in Char/Sthir/Dwiswabhav Rashi

1,4,7,10 signs show that life is active!

11,2,5,8 signs are badhak to Char and show obstruction to life.

If Badha is stronger then life,troubles in life/Dasha are certain.

 

Incidently,For Char Lagn 11th is badhak which is Sthir Rashi for which

9th is badhak. 9th from 11th is 7th so partner/spouse will prove

helpful

to obstruct badha for Char Lagn. Similarly for Sthir Lagn also 7th is

helpful for removing badha.

 

Link of Pran-Dasha(5th level) with Pran-Pad also needs consideration.

[PVR has proposed following sequence for dasha interpretation:

Ravi-Chandr-Lagn-AK-Pranpad_lagn-Lagn.]

 

I found that you have skipped qualities of planets.These are extreamly

important and each quality needs a separate

post/example/illustration.

Please try to cover basics in depth.
