I thank u very much for ur kind gesture of uploading the lessons. I

downloaded the zip files more than thrice, but the latter two audio files could

not be opened by me, as it is showing cyclic redundancy error. Kindly help me.

How to Download :

 

Step 1 - click on the above downloading links or enter their addresses

manually into your web browser.

 

Step 2 - wait for a few seconds while the free links are generated.

 

Step 3 - click on the sentence : "Don't want a premium download? Click

here to access our free download links."

 

Step 4 - there are 3 downloading options provided - HTTP, FTP and P2P. I

recommend HTTP. You may experiment with the other 2 remaining options.

 

Due to the large filesizes, depending on your internet connection, it

may take at least 1 hour for the downloading to be completed.

 

You may also want to experiment with downloading them at different times

to guess when is the off-peak period of the servers and subsequently

schedule your actual downloading during these periods.

 

As this is a free service offered by a file hosting company, please do

not have unrealistic expectations in terms of downloading speeds,

stability and server uptime.

 

File Modifications :

 

I have made some minor modifications to the original mp3 and pdf files

to suit my own learning and categorisation preferences.

 

Here is a list of the modifications made:

 

- Two parts of each audio lesson were combined as one.

- Audio files were renamed to "Lesson X - MMDDYY.mp3" format.

- Filename of PDF document renamed to

"Lessons_On_Vedic_Astrology_Volume_1.pdf"

- Converted original document into single page format.

- Bookmarks added to improve accessibility.

- Default view = Bookmarks + Single Page + Fit Width + Inherit Zoom.

- Removed blank pages.

- Re-numbered pdf pages to match pages stated in "Contents" page.

- Appended lesson handouts after "Appendix B - Quick Reference".

 

All credits should go to PVR and his students for uploading the original

files previously in their website.

Dear Mr Suryanarayanan,

 

Thank you for your feedback.

 

I have spent a couple of hours downloading the 2 files and found what

you have mentioned to be true - they have CRC errors.

 

I apologised for any inconvienenced caused. Due to time constraints,

I wasn't able perform such checks when I first uploaded them.

 

Strangely, your feedback is the first and only one I have received so

far. According to my records, there are more than a 100 downloads

made for each of these files. I wonder if this problem is due to the

uploading process or due to some server settings in FileFactory.

 

If anyone of you manage to download and open these 2 files without

any errors, please feel free to inform me via private email.

 

In any case, I will be re-uploading these files and re-downloading

them again to double check. If there are no CRC errors this time

round, I will announce the new links in this .

 

Btw, please address me simply as Pushya. No "shri" and no "ji"

please. I am most probably younger than most of the list members here.

yes I have downloaded the file no. 1 measuring 1.5 mb

and second file of lessons 1-20 of 273 mb and that is

being played without any problem.
