Guest guest
Namaste Azaad, Here's my general response to your question. First, there is another school of thought in Jyotish that states the exaltation and debilitation of Rahu. It is said that Rahu is exalted in Taurus and debilitated in Scorpio. Using this criteria, your Rahu is not debilitated. Second, one's spiritual life does not need to clash with one's material needs in this lifetime. One can practice Karma Yoga to satisfy both. Third, one's education is a function of hard work and creativity. For example, the 6th house has an argala to the 5th house, the house of intelligence/education. Or, the 5th house of intelligence and creativity has argala to the 4th house of education. Guest guest
Dear Sh. John, Thanks for your response. I am not very familiar with argala, I do know it means a bolt. Is 6th on 5th and 5th on 4th are generallly true for any chart or true for my specific chart. In the latter case hard work work will release creativity and that in turn eduaction? That makes total sense. Could you comment on the 4th house Lord, that is Mercury, which is the Atmakaraka. Does its 'old age' status translate into lesser wordly awareness, lesser abilitty to make right decisions etc.? Guest guest
Namaste Azaad, The Atmakaraka represents your soul and does not mean it's weak because of it being "old". You should read books by current jyotishis relating this matter. The Atmakaraka has many uses one of which is its use to determine career and life accomplishments. You should familiarize yourself with the Jaimini sutras to appreciate the significance of the atmakaraka. Regards, John R. vedic astrology, "theblisswithin" <azaad wrote: > > Dear Sh.
