Materialist or Spiritualist?

Respected Gurujans,

 

I have a question about my Rahu-Ketu.

In rasi rahu is debilitated in Sag, so is ketu in Gem of course

In D -9, rahu is in Gem and Ketu in Sag.

I am curious to know what the net effect of these two contradictions

are.

 

Seems by the rasi chart that I am neither properly materialist nor

properly spiritualist? ( That is going by just Rahu-Ketu alone.

However, Jup is debil in Cap, but I do engage in regular meditation

for many years and Japas and try to help people as much as I can)

 

So what does the reversal of this in D-9 mean? Is D-9 ( navamsa) who

we actually are on the inside on the soul level or that which we

become eventually in this lifetime.

 

So eventually am I a materialist or a spiritualist or both or neither?

 

I think rather than being 'Naa Maya mili na Ram' that is having

both the areas unfulfilled, better to get some material success first

and then take care of Moksha in a while.

 

Since as it happens last several years have been a sort of limbo

with very strong efforts but no results. Am still pursuing higher

education, not really earning a living and that education too has run

into some serious problems. Am yet to get in a finacially self

supporting situation and in a bare survival mode at this time.

 

Does doing some Rahu meditation or mantra make things better? Maybe

at this time I should pursue the material things more vigorously. But

again since Rahu is a shadow planet it seems to give but doesn't not

really give? So what's the point in doing that or is there any.

 

I am also curious about this as Rahu is transiting my 10th house in

pisces, the career house, whose Lord Jupiter is debilitated anyway

already, being in Cap in 8th.

 

I also noticed that a few minutes earlier just today itself Narayana

Dasha started in Cancer that will go till 2010. I don't know what

that means.

At this time I have a maha dasha of Sun and the second phase of Sade

sati also going on. So maybe the worship of Sun is better to help

overcome the troubles facing me on all fronts?

 

Any insights on this whole situation and suitable Upayas would be

very welcome.
