The biggest festival of Ramayana to be witnessed by the world From

14th-23rd April 06 at Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamsthanam, Shree

Samasthana Gokarna, Shree Ramachandrapura Math.

 

 

Sahasradhik Ramayan Parayan

The vibrations emanating from the chanting of epic - Ramayana by

more than 1,100 great Sanths from Ayodhya in unison will create a

reverberating effect on the environment.

 

Shree Rama Mahasamrajya

 

Pattabhisheka

This event will be enacted the same way as it was celebrated in

Thretayuga, in Ayodhya, when Shree Rama was crowned King. The

Abhisheka enacted using the water of all sacred rivers, thirthas &

oceans will be unique event summed up with traditional music and

folk dances.

 

Samrajya Shree Nivedana

A opportunity for all devotees to present "Kappa - Kanike" and other

gifts to the crowned king Shree Rama, the traditional way. Shree

Ramachandra Math will offer its everything as Kappa - Kanike to Lord

Rama.

 

Taraka Mahayaga

A multitude of 1 crore offerings through lord Agni from "Ghritha"

the pure Indian breed cow ghee in the yajna kunda will have

benevolent effects on nature and environment, which would be

scientifically tested and evaluated.

 

Akhand Rama Bhajan

All through the 10 days of Mahasatra there will be continual Rama

Bhajans from various groups.

Rama Leela

The people of south will perform Rama Leela, the traditional folk

drama.

 

The Cultural Variety Show

Well - known artists of different disciplines will assemble

in Shree Math to make each cultural evening memorable with

programmes on Ramayana
