Respected Pandit Dakshinamoorthi avl,

Namaskaram. Will the Chitra pournami vrattam also help for a native

with moon afflicted, ketu and mercury-debilitated in the 10th house

(pisces)?

Also for moon in the eighth house but not debilitated, and in

maranakaraka sthana?

I strongly believe in the spiritual chanting of mantras and their

effect on the various maladies.

What about the placements from AL? I've Moon with Jupiter in 12th in Cancer,

which is 4th from AL...

Dear Naliniji:

Placement of Moon, ketu, and debilitated Mercury in the 10th house may

denote unsettled career inspite of the potential to succeed! The

native may have a spiritual outlook to life, and will get upset by

irregularities found in normal life. It is advisable for such natives

to avoid going into business or financial careers though strangely, I

have found many natives with this combination working in financial

institutions and feeling bad about the goings on there! The presence

of Ketu in 10th is a definite indicator of spiritual karmas or at

least a predisposition towards spirituality. We also have to check if

the debilitation of Mercury is cancelled in the horoscope. Mercury

being the 1st and 4th lords for this horoscope, due to the

debilitation of the planet, this native may become a victim of

scandalous rumours that could spoil the peace of mind of this native.

There might also be a break in education at some point in life. Of

course, this is a general reading and there might be other moderating

influences in the horoscope.

Chitra pournami vratham will definitely help in these cases also as

Chitragupta is the Devata for Ketu. Observance of this vratam will

help them to find their bearings in life which seems to be tossed from

one extreme to the other with success and failure coming in alternate

cycles in life. In fact for any affliction arising out of Ketu,

propitiating Lord Chitragupta will prove effective.

Generally, for any weakness in one's natal Moon (either due to

affliction by malefics or due to debilitation), performance of

Pournami Pooja and/ or worship of Lord Shiva on Mondays will be

effective remedies.

Respected Sri Dakshinamoorthi avl,

Namaskaram. The facts have been stated beautifully by you, sir.Yes.

I have had a break in education.Never progressed beyond my Post

Graduation, inspite of efforts. And I was working for 22 years in a

financial institution, and totally disenchanted- no, vexed with the

goings on.I was constantly subject to cheating, frauds. I have now

given up my job due to ill health.

Jupiter and saturn are in 7th- sagittarius, in kendra from moon so

would that cancel the debilitation?

I have always faced extremes in life. and at this point in time

grappling with odds to find my feet.The only thing that is

unflinching and unwavering is my faith in the MahaTripurasunadri,

she is the reason that I Am.
