Date of accident: 15th Dec 2001 Time: approx 11:30pm Place: Vashi (New Bombay) highway He was on a bike (Hero Honda) along with a friend who was in the back seat. It was a head-on collision with a car in which there was a marriage party. Both of them were without helmets.Due to some construction work in the highway, the bike skid and collided with the car. Both of them were thrown apart.Though he was badly injured in the head, his friend escaped with minor injuries. The people in the car were good enough to take him to a nearby hospital. He was unconscious for almost 12 hrs. after which he regained consciousness. He recovered very soon and within 15 days he was back in office as there were no deep injuries.All medical expenses were paid by his company.They later sold off the bike.The vehicle was in good shape.
