Namaste, Tatvam-Asi,

In one of your messages dated today, you speak to Jupiter in 8th:

<quote>

"Hello Mukesh,

My study on Guru shows, eighth house placement is detrimental to person's

life and longevity.

The person may remain healthy but it gives sudden dangers .It is not always

found to give those excellent things said by scriptures.

"BHAVA NASHA KARO JEEVA,

BHAVA VRIDDHHI KARAU SHANI"

Jupiter tends to diminish the result of the bhava it occupies..

More can be said after checking the whole chart.

Tatvam-Asi

<end_quote>

I am new to this group and a student of Jyotish; and would like to benefit

from anything additional you can share about difficulties encountered with

Guru in the 8th.

It is my understanding that for Libra or Capricorn lagna, Jupiter will not

be strongly supportive. Also, exalted grahas may not bode well for material

plane expression. However, if I understand your words, your experience is

that Guru is not well-placed in the 8th-house for any lagna.

As for "...sudden dangers" to one's health, I have been taught that is the

nature of the 8th-house. Jupiter (Guru) placed therein would, at best,

reduce the severity of one's loss...whether health or otherwise. Please

correct my misunderstandings with your clarification.
