Dear learned members,

I was reading Kurma Puran where I found mention of 18 Maha purans and 18

Upa-purans.

It is said that Maharshi Parasara spoke a Purana called Parasara Puran.

Does anyone has any pointer to this Puran or any information on the same?

Thanks

Souvik

dear friend

even as the modern BHPS has become a bible for astrologers, sage

parashara is known for his various holy scriptures other than

astrology.

sage parasara has written "parsara smriti" which is one of the 18

smritis.

sage parasara has also written "vishnu puran" which is one of the 18

puranas.

sage parasara has also written a upapuran "parasarapuran" which is

one of the 18 upapuranas.

there is also a samhita called "parashar samhita"

the century old publisher motilalbanarsidass shall be able to help

you in getting the above whose website is www.mlbd.com
