Hello Group,

I need some expert opinion on this horoscope.

Details:

DOB: 19th May, 1976.

TOB: between 12:10 - 12:15 am(Past midnight)

POB: Kanyakumari.

Gender: Male

This native(my friend's brother) seeked my advice regarding his

marriage and career move.

The native has Mars and Saturn in the seventh in Cancer. I said that

although his Mars is in Seventh, it is not harmful as Mars in Cancer

is not harmful. Also, Saturn being his Lagna lord in parivarthana

with his seventh lord which is placed in his Lagna, I felt that this

combination will not harmful. My advice was based on what I read in

one of the classics as given below:

"A native with Mars and Saturn in the 7th in Cancer will get a

beatiful and good wife. This will happen only if Lagna is makara".

I can't recall which classic this was. Anyway, the native is turning

30 and is still unmarried.

Secondly, this native was well placed with his assignment abroad, in

a good software MNC. He got a good opportunity with an MNC for a

better salary, in India and he shifted out after hearing my advice.

I said told him that since Jupiter was transitting his 10th house,

he would prosper in his career, hence any job shift should be good

for him. This again was wrong as he is extremely dissatisfied with

his new job.

He is now seeking advice on higher studies. He wants to pursue

higher studies in Management. Is this good for him? Will he be able

to pursue higher studies in the next 1-2 yrs? If so, will it enable

him win a better job in the managerial cadre?

Please advise on the following:

1. Marriage prospects - When and what abt the qualities of spouse

and married life?

2. Career - he wants to go abroad again. Is that possible?

3. Higher studies - Better for him? Possible in Management?

Regards,

Raji.

Dear Ms.Raji:

The transit of Jupiter in 10th from natal Moon is a dreaded transit as

far as professional aspects are concerned. It is an unsettling period

. Maybe, that is what the native is experiencing....Unfavourable

transfers, loss of prestige at work, obstacles at work, or change of

profession are some of the results that one can anticipate during such

a transit. Evidently your friend should have been adviced to maintain

a low profile and try to stick on with the existing job and avoid

making new moves during this period. Probably, things will start

looking up after transit of Jupiter into Scorpio by the end of

october.

Kindly refrain from giving astrological advice until you are thorough

of the basics. Even the opnion of experts can go wrong at times due

to factors beyond human control and that is perfectly acceptable; but

in this case, you have been technically at fault while giving the

advice based on faulty perception of the basics and ignorance of the

transit effects.

Jupiter is a benefic planet ...no doubt....But, you must remember,

rules relating to natal astrology are different from the effects of

transit. This is where you have erred. However, do not lose heart..

....We all learn from experience......And it is probably Jupiter in

10th from Natal Moon which made your friend change his job and you

would have just been an instrument of Fate. Your intentions have been

good....Do not worry....Keep exploring this field bravely but with

more patience and application. You have the honesty to accept your

error and this is what is going to make you great in this field.

Kindly maintain this same attitude even after you have progressed well

in this field.....

Blessed be.

Pandit. R.DAKSHINAMOORTHI.

Dear Shri Dakshinamoorthiji,

Just one clarification: Isnt the problem also because saturn is

transitting the 7th house from natal moon giving rise to kandaka

shani and that too it is vakra from Nov 22.

One more doubt. This gentleman is currently running rahu venus. Rahu

is in the 10th house aspected by jupiter and mars. Venus the

yogaraka is in 4th. My question: Is Rahu in the 10th good for one's

career? My observation and I have been surprised: People with rahu

in the 10th (with or wihout beneficial aspect) have had phenomenal

success.

Sure Sir, thanks for your advice.

Infact I took into account the transit of Jupiter from Lagna. That

is where I went wrong.
